Jake Paul’s Mom Wants to Punch Anthony Joshua Promoter Eddie Hearn
Uh-oh … Eddie Hearn better watch out!
Anthony Joshua‘s career-long boxing promoter has, for years, been the one to watch his fighters do the hitting, and sometimes get hit back but, after his heavyweight darling’s latest outing, it’s he who may need to go on the defensive to avoid an oncoming shot. And it’s all because Jake Paul‘s mom, Pam Stepnick, said she wanted to give him a good, ol’ hiding.

Jake Paul’s Mom Wanted to Punch Eddie Hearn
Paul and Joshua recently shook up the combat sports world with their crossover event on the 19th of December which took place at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, and aired on Netflix. The event was mired in controversy before a punch had even been thrown because of the perceived differences in experience, skill, size, and power — with Joshua, a bona fide heavyweight who towered over Paul in comical fashion, a former two-time champion who made a habit of pulverizing opponents.
But, in the fight itself, Paul showed he could avoid the seemingly inevitable by boxing at a distance and using the full space of the oversized ring. That strategy came at a cost, though, as it appeared to exhaust the internet sensation, which thus allowed Joshua to land more punishing blows. ‘AJ’ dropped Paul twice in the fourth, and then knocked him out for good with a twice-broken jaw in the fifth.
Now, Paul’s mom is fuming. Not with Joshua, though, but with Hearn.
In a recent episode of the ‘Impaulsive’ podcast, Jake’s brother Logan asked their mom what it was like to see her son getting whacked by Joshua.
“I wanted to get in the ring and punch Eddie Hearn.”

She then elaborated as to why.
“I don’t like his smug face,” she said.

As for the fighters themselves, it’s likely Joshua will continue with the crossover theme by taking on kickboxing legend Rico Verhoeven in his next fight, in a Riyadh Season boxing ring, with Tyson Fury allegedly returning around that time for a tune-up, before a long overdue Battle of Britain between ‘The Gypsy King’ and Joshua.
As for Paul, well, considering his injuries, which he described as like having a throbbing baseball stuck in his mouth, he’ll presumably need at least nine months to adequately recover before he can even think about sparring, let alone fighting. And, even then, he may want to avoid people like Joshua.
