Phillip Brett has said he won’t be intimidated following the incident
North Belfast MLA Phillip Brett has said he ‘won’t be intimidated” following a “serious and distressing” incident at his home.
The DUP MLA has released images online showing two men after an alleged attempted break-in at his home on Saturday, December 27 shortly after 8pm.
The pictures show two men in green clothing on the driveway of a property.

Following the incident he took to social media to ask people with any information regarding the incident to contact police.
The DUP MLA said on social media: “Serving the people of North Belfast has always come first for me — and it always will.
“Tonight there was an attempted break-in at our home, a serious and distressing incident that put my family at risk.
“If anyone can identify those involved, or has CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage from the area tonight, please contact the PSNI immediately.
“Intimidation will never stop me doing my job.”
