Man Utd and Spurs Scouting Explosive Talent Yan Diomande
Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are among several Premier League clubs monitoring ‘explosive‘ winger Yan Diomande, according to GIVEMESPORT senior reporter Fabrizio Romano.

Diomande currently plays for RB Leipzig and has also been representing Ivory Coast at the Africa Cup of Nations, where his performances have further raised his profile among scouts.
Romano highlighted the winger’s key attributes, pointing to his pace and dribbling ability as standout qualities.
“He’s a very talented winger with dribbling, with pace,” Romano added. “He’s a very good player, very good talent, very interesting, with big potential.”

Romano went on to explain that interest in Diomande is widespread and not limited to just one or two clubs. However, he confirmed that Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have both taken concrete steps to scout the player in person.
“For young man Diomande, what I can tell you is that among many clubs, it’s not only about these two,” Romano said. “But among many clubs, recently Manchester United and Tottenham were on a mission to scout this boy.”
The update confirms that both clubs have watched Diomande – valued at more than £87m according to Florian Plettenberg – as part of their wider scouting activity, placing him firmly on their radar.

Romano stressed that Diomande is viewed as a player for the future rather than someone being discussed in immediate transfer terms.
“He’s considered a talent to watch for the future,” Romano said.
While Romano did not suggest that talks, negotiations or bids are underway, his comments underline the growing level of attention around the Leipzig winger. The situation, as described, remains focused on scouting and monitoring rather than movement.
