Tadcaster: Fire started deliberately in Britannia Car Park
The county’s police force said it happened on Thursday, December 25 in Britannia Car Park, off Commercial Street, Tadcaster.
Police reported that North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service were on the scene and put the fire out which was then inspected to reveal the cause.

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for assistance from the public who may have information about the identity of people involved in starting the fire.
A spokesperson for the force said: “If you can assist our investigation, then please contact North Yorkshire Police via 101 and ask to speak with PC Nicholas Woods of the Tadcaster Neighbourhood Policing Team.
“Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
