Turkish side Fenerbahce have reportedly sent an opening offer for Milan striker Christopher Nkunku, and the Rossoneri are making their assessments over the Frenchman’s future.
Fenerbahce have sent an opening offer for Milan striker Nkunku, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
The report claims that Domenico Tedesco, the coach of the Turkish side, wants to reunite with the Milan striker in the Turkish capital, as the pair already worked together at Leipzig during the 2022-23 season when Nkunku became the Bundesliga top scorer with 16 goals, alongside Niclas Fullkrug.
Ironically, the German forward will join the Rossoneri in just a few days after completing his medical with the club last week, but if Nkunku were to leave, then Milan would be looking for another striker in January.
According to the report, Milan are yet to make a decision on Nkunku’s future.
Surely, the Frenchman will start in the next match against Cagliari on Friday, January 2, after scoring his first two Serie A goals against Hellas Verona last weekend, contributing to a 3-0 win.
