Although they did not win any silverware, Roma had a stronger points average in the calendar year 2025 than any other team in Serie A.
Napoli won the Scudetto in May following a battle with Inter, pipping them to the top in the final round.
The Partenopei are again in an intense challenge with the Nerazzurri and AC Milan for the leadership this season as the year comes to a close.
However, it is Roma who had the best 2025, amassing 82 Serie A points over the past 12 months, an average of 2.22 points per game.
They are followed by Napoli and Inter, who are both on an average of 2,08 points per game, then a big drop to Milan on 1.92 points. Juventus are in fifth on 1.89 points per game, then Atalanta 1.49 and Lazio 1.46.
Roma also finish on top under coaches Claudio Ranieri and Gian Piero Gasperini for the most victories on 26 and the best defence, conceding 22 goals.
Napoli lost the fewest matches with just five, whereas Inter were the most prolific team on 69 goals.
