Appeal to trace next of kin after man, 27, dies in hospital

Darien Craine, of Eden Street in Astley Bridge, sadly died at the age of 27 on Monday (December 29) in Royal Bolton Hospital.

Police said there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death and have launched an appeal to find his next of kin.

They’re asking anyone with information to call the Bolton Police Coroner’s Office on 0161 856 4687.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said: “Do you know the next of kin of a man from Bolton?

“Darien Craine (27) of Eden Street, Bolton sadly died at Royal Bolton Hospital on 29/12/25.

“There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death. Any info? Call Bolton Police Coroner’s Office on 0161 856 4687.”
