On New Year’s Eve, she took to Instagram to mark a significant personal milestone – a decade since she and Charlie exchanged vows in a breathtaking ceremony at Cardiff Castle.

Alongside stunning throwback photographs from their wedding day and a contemporary image, she penned: “Today, we celebrate 10 years as husband and wife. Then and now.

“We married in the northern hemisphere so it was only right to mark a decade, with our children in the southern hemisphere. It’s all about compromise (laughing emoji),” reports Wales Online.

“We are so grateful to our family and friends who made that day extremely special and continue to make life a lot of fun!”

Fans rushed to support her offering their congratulations on her milestone anniversary and several hours later, she shared another photograph of herself wearing an elegant black strappy dress whilst extending New Year wishes to her followers.

She wrote: “The clock has already rolled into 2026 in NZ but just wanted to wish you all a very Happy New Year when it comes. Thanks you for all your encouragement and support this year. I hope there’s a wonderful year waiting around the corner for you all x.”

Alex frequently offers a peek into her family life on Instagram, sharing snippets of their recent move from London to the countryside and outings with Teddy, Kit and Annie.

She’s also been candid about her husband Charlie’s health challenges. She previously revealed that Charlie had gone through a “rough period” throughout 2023.

During a podcast chat, she described watching Charlie “fall apart” as he battled Lyme Disease and viral meningitis. Speaking on Gabby Logan’s podcast The MidPoint, a relieved Alex shared that Charlie is “in a much better place now”.

She explained her drive to podcast host Gabby: “I think what drives me is the fact that we have got three young children, and I feel, for them, I need to do the best to preserve myself.”

Alex continued: “Mum and dad have always been healthy, growing up we’ve always eaten a balanced diet, but more so, Charlie and I are focused on that.

“He also wasn’t very well last year,” she noted, leading Gabby to ask: “How is he now?”.

In response, Alex said: “He’s good, yes. He’s in a way better place now to where we were a year ago but diet has played a huge part in that. We always eat relatively well but he’s quite into nutrition.”
