The best low-alcohol and non-alcoholic beers
Writing about non-alcoholic beer brings out a rather predictable set of comments: “Why bother?”; “I’d rather drink water”; “Just drink the real thing”. However, even if they aren’t for you, they are for a large and growing market of drinkers. And while the rhetoric is still very much that Gen Z is causing the downshift in alcohol sales, the data shows something very different, with a just a three per cent gap in drinking behaviour between them and their millennial counterparts, according to the International Wine and Spirits Record.
