Candace Owens Claimed Erika Kirk Lied About Single Mother Upbringing
Candace Owens is raising questions about Charlie Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk, in her new multi-part docuseries, Bride of Charlie, exploring Erika’s upbringing and background.
“I will tell you my personal opinion and experience with her. What alarms me about Erika isn’t so much the fact that she lies, which we will prove to you over and over again, but it’s also the fact that I don’t know that she’s aware that she’s lying,” Owens, 36, alleged in the Wednesday, February 25, episode, titled “A Wrinkle In Time.”
In the first installment, Owens accuses Erika, 37, of misrepresenting herself to the public by claiming she was raised by a single mother, alleging that Erika’s claim is merely scratching the surface of what Owens described is a far more complicated and carefully curated narrative.
Owens began her segment by addressing investigative journalist Elizabeth Lane’s viral tweet suggesting that Erika’s public image is not authentic, noting that is just her “opinion” from “consistent, observable patterns of behavior.”
Owens echoed that sentiment and doubled down on various conspiracy theories that claim Erika is not “simply a grieving widow,” going on to accuse the Turning Point USA CEO of fabricating details about her past for potentially nefarious reasons.
Erika took over the role as Turning Point CEO after her husband, Charlie, was fatally shot in the neck while speaking at an outdoor event on the Utah Valley University campus on September 10, 2025. He was 31.
Owens said that Erika prides herself on being raised by a “strong, independent, entrepreneurial single mother [Lori Frantzve] who taught her how to be a good Christian,” claiming that Erika’s father, Kent Frantzve, was very much in the picture and, at one point, a stay-at-home dad.
The podcaster referenced Erika’s September 2025 profile in The New York Times, in which Erika said being a single mother to her and Charlie’s two kids was “actually the least traumatizing” aspect of her new reality, as she was raised by a single mother herself after her parents divorced. She went on to describe her mother as her “blueprint.”

Owens said Erika’s image is cultivated by “seeding the public with the idea that you can raise kids, and be a single mom, and also be a CEO and boss babe it.”
“The only problem is that it’s just not true. Erika was not raised by a single mother, like, at all,” Owens alleged, further claiming that Kent was “always” in Erika’s life. “So much so that for entire years of her childhood, Kent was actually a stay-at-home dad. So almost the exact opposite thing was true at one point.”
Owens then played a clip of Erika defending stay-at-home dads while chatting with Charlie on an episode of “The Charlie Kirk Show” podcast, noting her father was a stay-at-home dad for a few years.
“And I gotta say it was really sweet. And really special. I was 4,” Erika said in the clip.
Owens said Erika was 10 years old when her parents divorced in 1998, “so her father was very much a part of her early childhood and he did not stop being involved in her teenaged years either,” citing conversations she had with classmates and past boyfriends of Erika.
Owens also mentioned that Erika had a stepfather, Larry Ginta, who was a “fixture” in her life “since before her parents’ divorce was ever finalized.”
Us Weekly has reached out to Erika Kirk and Turning Point USA for comment.
After Owens released the trailer for her “investigative docuseries,” several supporters defended Erika online, who received a standing ovation at President Trump’s State of the Union address in Washington on Tuesday, February 24, accusing Owens of using her platform to smear Erika’s image.
“She’s a conspiratorial, evil person,” Ben Shapiro said of Owens during the Tuesday, February 24, episode of “The Ben Shapiro Show” podcast.

Ex-Vogue Editor Ditches First Class Due To Cabin Filled With ‘White’ Men
Gabriella Karefa-Johnson has claimed that she chose to downgrade from first class on a recent flight after experiencing what she described as substandard service due to her race.
The former Vogue editor alleged that the treatment came from a flight attendant and added that she also noticed the premium cabin was largely filled with white, middle-aged men.
Gabriella Karefa-Johnson’s remarks sparked mixed reactions online, with some expressing anger over how she was allegedly treated, while others accused her of adopting a “victim mentality.”

Gabriella Karefa-Johnson Claims She Self-Downgraded To Protect Her Emotional And Mental Well-Being

On Tuesday, Karefa-Johnson took to her Threads account to recount her alleged experience aboard a flight she took to Milan.
According to the Brooklyn-based journalist, she had originally booked a first-class seat for her flight, but midway through the journey, she chose to downgrade herself to business class.
Karefa-Johnson shared she made the decision when the flight attendant appeared to act with bias while serving her in the cabin, which she claimed was largely occupied by white men.
“In a cabin of six, five of the passengers were white middle-aged men… then there was me, a 30-something black woman who travels in that cabin often, and a male flight attendant who thought I’d be okay with substandard service and persistent micro-aggression from the moment I sat down,” she wrote.

“He was… wrong,” Karefa-Johnson further remarked. “I don’t suffer fools, and I would sacrifice physical comfort to protect my emotional and mental well-being any day.”

The Woke Activist Was Grossed Out By The Incident

Down in the comments section, Karefa-Johnson shared further details about the incident while interacting with concerned fans.
She explained that although she could have requested a different flight attendant, she opted not to, saying his behavior had ruined the experience and left her feeling uncomfortable.
The fashion enthusiast also acknowledged the possibility that the attendant might have been having a bad day, but added that the encounter still unsettled her.
Karefa-Johnson further noted that she had received apologies from both the pilot and the purser, yet she intends to formally report the incident to the airline.

Netizens Had Mixed Reactions To Gabriella Karefa-Johnson’s Claims
Some fans expressed outrage over the incident and offered apologies to Karefa-Johnson for the treatment she allegedly received on the flight.
“I’m sorry you had to do that-you deserve to be anywhere and everywhere. They belong in economy,” one fan told the journalist.
However, there were also a number of individuals who claimed the incident never happened, while others argued that Karefa-Johnson was exhibiting a victim mentality.
“I’m calling bullsh-t. American Airlines doesn’t have first class and business class to Milan. They have Business, Premium, and Economy,” a user shared.
“A business class cabin of 6? Assuming it was a wide-body aircraft, the business class cabin has about 38-40 seats,” another individual commented.

The Ex-Vogue Editor Was Accused Of Playing The Victim

More critics of Karefa-Johnson called her out for seemingly playing the victim card, with some even going as far as branding her racist.
“You’re actively looking for ways to be offended. Living with a victim mentality because the media told you you’re oppressed is exhausting — and unnecessary. No one in first class cares who you are; they’re just traveling. Now you’re complaining about who belongs in first or business class? That’s not activism — that’s entitlement,” one other netizen stated.
Another wrote, “Sounds like that’s a race problem. Sounds like she has something against white people. Honestly, that’s just sad.”
One more critic noted, “So she voluntarily moved to the back of the bus to segregate herself from white men? Strange times we live in.”
The Ex-Vogue Editor Courted Controversy Over An Anti-Israel Rant In 2023

Back in 2021, Karefa-Johnson gained widespread attention after reaching a major milestone as the first Black woman to style a Vogue cover.
However, just a few years later, she stepped away from her role at the publication following backlash over comments that were widely criticized as anti-Israel.
Karefa-Johnson had claimed that Israel was carrying out “genocide” and went as far as to liken the Israel Defense Forces to a “terrorist organization,” comments she made in the aftermath of Hamas-led attacks that killed over 1,400 Israelis.

“It’s so disappointing to see the utter lack of understanding of the basic tenets and tactics of colonization, and one’s willingness to justify and defend those systems which have only ever oppressed,” she wrote on her Instagram page after the October 7 Hamas attack in 2023, per the Daily Mail.
“Damn. I hate when Instagram shows me what I hope I never know about the people I follow and their horrifying belief systems,” the journalist continued.

Heidi Montag Was ‘In Tears’ Before Last Masked Singer Appearance (Excl)
Heidi Montag has done her fair share of reality TV, but she’s dreamed of being on The Masked Singer since it debuted — which made it doubly disappointing when an injury forced her to exit on the earlier side.
“I couldn’t even talk,” Montag, 39, exclusively told Us Weekly ahead of her elimination on the Wednesday, February 25, episode. “I had a hemorrhage on my vocal cord that I got during the show, because the helmet is just so heavy and it was so hard, and I was straining my neck trying to lift the head up. And then I was just singing so much and so hard, and so it did strain my voice and then cause the hemorrhage of my vocal cord.”
By the time Spice Girls Night came around, the Hills alum “had been whispering for two weeks straight” at home.
“I couldn’t even talk to my kids in the house. It was really intense off camera, and I was trying to just save my voice,” she recalled. “So, I was definitely in tears before and after, because I have wanted this for so long, and then to have to leave for a vocal injury was just devastating for me at the time. I just felt like I was being robbed of this opportunity I’ve been waiting for so long for … and I know it was magnified because of everything that I’ve been through.”
As Snow Cone, Montag was open about everything she and her husband, Spencer Pratt, have experienced since losing their home last January in the Pacific Palisades fire. In Wednesday’s clue package, she said she realized that “nothing good or bad lasts forever,” but their love will be their “legacy.”
While Pratt, 42, didn’t sing on the show, he did support his wife as Mr. Snow Cone, who silently appeared on stage and in her clue packages. They even reconnected with a producer who worked with them during their original run on The Hills, which made the experience “really fun” for the couple.

“It’s really rare to be part of a show that’s so positive and inspiring,” Montag added. “Usually, my experience from reality TV is they’re out to get you and to exploit you, all these different things. .. It was just a really great experience for me and Spencer to be able to do. It was our first really positive show we’ve done together, and in light of everything that we had just been through, it was a really big blessing for us.”
It was also a blessing for their sons — Gunner, 8, and Ryker, 3 — who are big fans of the show.
“Every time I go to L.A. now, they’re like, ‘Are you going to be Snow Cone? Are you going to your job at Snow Cone?’” Montag said with a laugh. “It’s the best thing I’ve ever done. The kids have never been more excited about anything. It has taken a life of its own in our house. And they love Mr. Snow Cone. They’re obsessed. I’m like, ‘Hello, Mrs. Snow Cone is singing! Mr. Snow Cone is just standing there.’ But they love the whole dynamic.”
While Montag wishes she got to stay on The Masked Singer a bit longer, she was absolutely thrilled to participate in Spice Girls Night (as any millennial woman would be).
“It was the first concert I ever went to. I was 12 years old,” she recalled. “Spice World is everything. I think I’ve seen that movie 1 million times on [VHS] … so I don’t think there could be a bigger Spice Girls fan. Growing up, I loved Baby Spice. She was my favorite. And as an adult, I think it’s Posh. I love Victoria Beckham so much.”

As a singer herself, Montag knows her way around a good pop song — and she promises that her new album will delight fans who are craving more after the release of last year’s Heidiwood.
“I’m really excited about this album,” she told Us of her next LP, titled Masterpiece. “It’s my best album I think I’ve ever done. It is less hyperpop. This is a little more classic, quintessential pop — early 2000s girly pop mixed with a modern twist. I think this will be a great staple for a lot of people. Definitely put it on your workout playlist.”
In the meantime, Montag is just grateful for what she and Pratt still have after losing everything last year. (Pratt announced his campaign for mayor of Los Angeles last month.)
“We still have a lot of challenges that we’re facing,” Montag explained. “It just puts everything in perspective. We could just die tomorrow, or anything could happen, or things that you think you’re planning for the future … like, let’s not plan too far in advance. That’s a big theme in our house now. We’re like, ‘Great, that’s a good outline, but let’s not commit to that, because we don’t know what the future is or where we’ll be.’ It’s definitely been a lot of moving parts, and we’ll continue to just take it day by day.”
The Masked Singer airs on Fox Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET.

Restraining Order Against Jada Pinkett Smith Denied, Filed by Will Smith’s Alleged Pal
Will Smith’s Alleged Friend
Restraining Order Against Jada Pinkett Smith …
Denied!!!
Published
A Los Angeles judge denied a restraining order petition filed against Jada Pinkett Smith by Will Smith’s alleged friend … TMZ has learned.
According to court docs obtained by TMZ, the case brought by Bilaal Salaam was thrown out of court after Jada and Bilaal both testified.
The judge found Bilaal did not provide enough evidence to be granted a permanent restraining order prohibiting Jada from coming within 100 yards of him. The case was dismissed.
In his earlier paperwork, Bilaal claimed he had been “seriously harmed emotionally and mentally by” Jada’s harassment, saying … “The repeated threats and public false accusations have caused me extreme stress, anxiety humiliation and fear for my safety.”
Bilaal — whose relationship with Will is somewhat disputed in the documents — claimed he had moved out of the country for “almost 2 years out of fear, I have been isolated from my family and support system.”
He added he was still suffering from “sleeplessness, depression, and constant fear that I will be harmed.”
As TMZ first reported, Bilaal filed a $3 million lawsuit against Jada over public comments he made. He claimed Jada came up to him at a private party, threatening him to stop talking about her family.
Bilaal claimed that after he turned down requests, Jada and Will’s circle of friends launched a retaliatory attack on him. The lawsuit remains pending according to court records.

Pete Davidson’s Girlfriend Elsie Hewitt On Why She ‘Hated’ Being Pregnant
Pete Davidson’s girlfriend, Elsie Hewitt, has opened up about why she “hated being pregnant” before the couple welcomed their daughter, Scottie, in December 2025.
“For the most part, I hated being pregnant. I was deeply uncomfortable,” Hewitt, 29, wrote in an essay for Elle that was published on Wednesday, February 2026. “I was constantly sick, exhausted, and in pain.”
Prior to Scottie’s birth, Hewitt shared with her social media followers in November 2025 that she was “in pain since the very beginning [of her pregnancy] and it [was] just getting worse and worse.” At the time, the model suspected that her struggle with endometriosis — a reproductive condition where tissue grows outside of the uterus — was “heavily linked” to her bout of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, a connective tissue disorder. (Hewitt underwent laparoscopic excision surgery shortly before getting pregnant.)
“Because of my prior reproductive health issues, I chose to be under the care of an OB-GYN rather than a midwife,” she wrote in her Elle essay. “It was the most clinical approach to pregnancy and birth — not one I loved — but one I felt I needed for my health and safety.”
She went on, “I found myself in yet another season of frustrating self-advocacy within a medical system that often fails to listen to women as carefully as it should.”
Elsewhere in the essay, Hewitt touched on why she chose not to breastfeed Scottie after giving the option some serious consideration.
“When people asked whether I planned to breastfeed, my thought process was layered,” she recalled. “The most important thing to me was doing what is best for my baby. I will always do what is best for her.”
She acknowledged that breastfeeding is often considered “the gold standard” since it “offers antibodies, unmatched nutrition and powerful bonding,” though there are significant complications that can arise for the mother. Hewitt pointed to the “physical” challenges for a new mom when adjusting to breastfeeding.
One alternative for mothers is feeding their newborn with formula, though Hewitt struggled with the general perception of using formula as “a safe alternative” when “something goes wrong.”

“I was aware, even before pregnancy, of the quiet shame attached to formula feeding,” she wrote. “It took some grappling with that shame, and some exploring of the moral hierarchy around breastfeeding, to affirm that what was best for me and what was best for my baby did not exist on different levels or rankings — they were one and the same.”
In the end, Hewitt felt it was important to consider her own “mental health” and “recovery” before deciding not to breastfeed.
“I feel fortunate not to have felt pressure to breastfeed from the people in my life. My partner didn’t push me in either direction,” she remembered. “My mother, who breastfed my sisters and me and was proud of that, made a point to tell me, simply, that the decision was entirely mine. She never said anything else, and her restraint meant a great deal to me. The OB-GYN and hospital staff didn’t try to persuade me either.”
Former Saturday Night Live star Davidson, 32, and Hewitt shared the happy news on December 18, 2025, that they’d welcomed their first baby.
“Our perfect angel girl arrived 12/12/2025. scottie rose hewitt davidson,” they announced via Instagram at the time.
In that same Instagram post, Hewitt described Scottie as unquestionably her “best work yet.”
“I am absolutely overflowing with love and gratitude and disbelief,” she beamed, with Davidson humorously adding, “Wu tang forever.”
In January, the couple exclusively confirmed to Us Weekly that they were already thinking about having more kids.
“I want her to have a friend, for sure,” Davidson said. “We love the idea of her being a big sister.”
For her part, Hewitt admitted that her urge to have more children so soon after Scottie’s arrival was somewhat surprising.
“I didn’t think I would already think about having another one,” Hewitt told Us. “The idea of that sounds absolutely insane right now. … The process of giving birth is so insane, but so empowering once it happens. Just having this little thing, I really can’t explain how incredible the whole thing is.”
She added, “The idea of making another one and making a sibling is something I’ve already been like, ‘I want to do it again.’ They’re so tiny when they come out, and they grow so fast. It’s crazy.”
Hewitt and Davidson were first linked in March 2025 and announced that they were expecting their first child four months later.

Padres’ Matt Waldron Out Indefinitely After Procedure to ‘Drain’ Hemorrhoids
San Diego Padres pitcher Matt Waldron has been benched indefinitely after undergoing a surgical procedure to “drain” his hemorrhoids.
“[Matt] had to have surgery to drain it and make it better,” Padres manager Craig Stammen told reporters on Wednesday, February 25. “So he’s been in the hospital the last couple days.”
Stammen, 41, described Waldron’s recovery as a “week-to-week” situation, meaning that it’s possible that the pitcher could miss Major League Baseball’s opening day on March 25. Waldron was in contention for a starting pitcher spot with the Padres, though it now seems unlikely that he’ll heal fast enough.
His injury was initially described to reporters as “an infection in his rear end,” though the procedure was later clarified to be related to hemorrhoids.
“[His return will be] depending on how that incision heals and how he’s feeling moving around,” Stammen explained during a press briefing.
The San Diego Padres manager insisted that the team’s medical staff would “take care of [Matt] the best we can.”
“Set him up here for the end of spring training, get him going, and then we’ll see where that takes us as the season goes and where his rehab process goes,” Stammen added.
Us Weekly has reached out to the San Diego Padres for comment.
Waldron was previously put out of commission during the preseason in March 2025 when he suffered a left oblique strain while warming up in the bullpen, per MLB.

“It’s very frustrating,” Waldron told reporters at the time. “I don’t want to stop throwing entirely. I’m hoping for that. But I’m going to let them tell me what to do and make the decision.”
Waldron, 29, was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 18th round of the 2019 MLB draft and sent to train with the rookie-level Arizona League Indians.
In August 2020, Waldron was part of a nine-player trade that also brought pitcher Mike Clevinger to the Padres. (Clevinger, 35, subsequently played with the Chicago White Sox and most recently signed with the Pittsburgh Pirates’ minor league team earlier in February, per the Associated Press.)
Waldron’s last start for the San Diego Padres came in June 2025, when he earned four earned runs in 4.2 innings during the team’s 4-0 loss to the Philadelphia Phillies. He secured two strikeouts in his two innings on the mound during that game.
The Omaha, Nebraska, athlete is one of the few remaining knuckleball pitchers left in Major League Baseball. The pitching technique — which was once incredibly popular — involves throwing the ball with little to no rotation, making it difficult for batters to hit.
Speaking to sports broadcaster Sam Levitt in February 2024, Waldron explained that he uses the knuckleball pitch as “a weapon” to throw off batters.
“I’ll make it as good as it can be,” he said. “It’s another weapon. I would say it’s a good changeup … if you execute it properly. At the end of the day, I think it’s an uncompetitive pitch that I’m trying to compete with.”
The pitcher went on, “I make [the knuckleball] sharp during catchplay, and then I bring it to the mound and see what the hitter does. I’m mixing and competing.”
Waldron noted that the “lack of spin” to the knuckleball is what can make the pitching style “uncompetitive” unless it can be mastered.
“You have to commit to that small [pitching] zone with a pitch with no spin,” he added. “It’s very much uncompetitive in my opinion but you can make adjustments with the way I deliver it. … It’s definitely unpredictable.”
He concluded, “It’s just finding a way around that. I know there’s going to be some bad [pitches], in terms of missing the zone. It’s all about sharpening it.”
Prior to being drafted in 2019, Waldron was a baseball standout at Westside High School and later played for the University of Nebraska’s Cornhuskers for four years.

Kanye West’s Wife’s Style Slammed By Potential Juror In Mansion Trial
Potential jurors in Kanye West’s ongoing Malibu mansion trial are well aware of his wife’s fashion style and have expressed their disapproval.
West is married to Bianca Censori, who has become known in recent years for her bold and often provocative style, even during public appearances.
Jurors also reportedly took issue with West’s social media behavior, and both he and Censori expected to testify as the case moves forward.

A Juror Called Bianca Censori’s Grammy Outfit ‘Disgusting’

During a jury selection hearing for Kanye West’s $57 million Malibu mansion lawsuit against a construction worker, things got a bit personal when they were asked whether “they had formed opinions” about the rapper and his wife, Bianca Censori.
According to the New York Post, the majority of the proposed pool raised their hands to affirm they had, and for Censori, those opinions appeared to center on her fashion choices.
On a number of occasions, Censori has appeared in public wearing a variety of risqué outfits, with some going as far as putting her privates on display.
At last year’s Grammys red carpet, she pushed boundaries even further by dressing nearly naked in a skintight, fully see-through dress, which she had initially covered with a long black fuzzy coat.

The attire was referenced specifically by juror #37, who described it as “disgusting.”
“I saw it on Facebook,” said the individual. “I don’t know if his wife? I didn’t like the way she presented himself. I don’t want to look at it. It’s disgusting!” she stated, before adding she could still remain unbiased during the trial.

The Rapper Was Criticized For His Social Media Antics

As for West, some jurors pointed out that they had issues with his social media antics, which had already garnered him negative traction over the years.
One retired school teacher, who is #45 in the pool, even revealed that his low opinion of West is shared by his relatives.
“I don’t like what he supports. My relatives are very against this guy,” the juror said.
Another juror, who is an IT specialist, pointed out that they had read about his rants on Reddit, which “shifted negatively” their opinion of the rapper.
One more juror, a female, referenced West’s rants against Jewish people, saying that not only did she dislike what he said about them, but the rapper also has a poor understanding of how to approach such issues.

“He simplifies things. This guy doesn’t analyze things properly,” the individual noted.

All About Kanye West’s $57 Million Malibu Mansion Case\

For the case, West is being sued by Tony Saxon, a construction worker who worked on the remodeling of the rapper’s $57 million Malibu Mansion years ago.
Originally designed by star architect Tadao Ando for financier Richard Sachs, the 4,000-square-foot home was purchased by Kanye West in 2021 for $57.25 million during his divorce from Kim Kardashian. The rapper has since offloaded it to Bellwood Investment for under half of what he paid.
Now, according to court documents, Saxon claims that West withheld his wages and subjected him to unsafe working conditions during the renovation. He also alleges that he was wrongfully terminated by the rapper.
Saxon is seeking more than a million dollars in damages from the court and is expected to testify at the trial, alongside West and Censori.
The Rapper’s Attorney Refuted Tony Saxon’s Claims About Payment During Opening Statement

On Tuesday, opening statements for the Malibu mansion case were delivered by the lawyers representing both sides.
West’s attorney, Andrew Cherkasky, came out strong to quickly deny Saxon’s allegations about payment, per Rolling Stone.
He claimed that Saxon was well paid for the six weeks of work on the “architectural gem” and that while he was hired for “renovation prep work,” he instead “destroyed the Ando house.”

Kanye West’s Attorney Accused The Alleged Victim Of Setting ‘An Impossible Standard’ For Himself

West’s attorney also dismissed Saxon’s claim that he was forced to live in the building during the renovation, insisting that the decision was entirely his own.
“It was Saxon who set for himself an impossible standard. He wanted to work 24/7. He wanted to camp at the house. He wanted to be the guy in charge,” Cherkasky told the jurors.
