MAFS fans âwork out real reasonâ Adam stayed on show despite not fancying Polly and accuse him of secret hook up
MARRIED At First Sight UK fans think they’ve worked out the “real reason” Adam Nightingale stayed on the show.
Adam‘s MAFS UK marriage to Polly Sellman came to a dramatic end in episodes aired this week after she branded her groom a “c***” and launched a glass of red wine at him.
Their relationship was rocky from the start after he almost immediately confessed he wasn’t attracted to Polly.
Despite this fans were left baffled when the former couple chose to stay in the experiment during each commitment ceremony.
Now they’ve insisted it’s because Adam had his eye on another bride, Amy Kenyon.
Adam and Amy were paired together during partner swap week and were seen shopping for lingerie together.
More on Married At First Sight
At the time fans couldn’t help but notice Adam “had never looked happier” while on the show.
This week they also appeared very close in snaps on social media, with one showing him pretending to propose to her.
And viewers think there is much more to the story. Writing on Reddit, one said: “With Adam and Amy seemingly flaunting their ‘close friendship’ all over social media, I reckon something must have happened on wife swap week other than sharing a bed – especially with all the lingerie and sex toys shopping.
“Can’t help but think Adam continued to write ‘stay’ to secretly get closer to Amy, especially as she said she was close friends with him (and Polly) and always in their apartment.
“Otherwise there was literally no need to stay to the end after constantly voicing his dislike (attraction and friendship) to Polly.”
Fans were previously left convinced Amy had feelings for Adam amid her disastrous marriage to Luke Debono.
In the penultimate episode of the series, the remaining newlyweds had gathered together for the last dinner party.
Before they sat around the table, Amy quietly told Polly that Adam had suggested she “model some underwear” during partner swap week.
One wrote on social media: “Is it just me or does it look like Amy is absolutely loving telling Polly about Adamâs comments?”
Another added: “So. Do we think Amy fancies a bit of Adam and is trying to sabotage??”

KSI shares Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson prediction: âThis will not be close at allâ
Fellow YouTuber-turned-boxer KSI has predicted that the forthcoming fight between boxing legend Mike Tyson and Jake Paul âwill not be close at all.â
KSI, real name Olajide Olayinka Williams âJJâ Olatunji, shared his thoughts on the fight, which will be live-streamed on Netflix on Friday (November 15).
The fight had originally been scheduled for July 20 but was ultimately postponed after Tyson suffered an ulcer flare-up on a flight from Miami to Los Angeles.
âJake Paul will knock out Mike Tyson. This will not be close at all,â KSI tweeted. âBoxing is a young manâs game and Mike is 58 years old. Theyâre sending a lamb to the slaughter and itâs disgusting.â
KSI, 31, previously fought Paulâs older brother, Logan, to a draw in an amateur bout in 2018. The two later reunited in the ring in 2019 with KSI beating Logan, 29, via a split decision in a professional contest.
The British YouTuber had also challenged 27-year-old Jake to a fight at the time; however, KSI ended up taking a three-year hiatus from the ring. He returned to boxing in August 2022 and appeared to receive an agreement to fight Jake, but that fight still has yet to happen.
In June, KSI issued his âfinal offerâ to fight Jake in May 2025, sharing that it would give him âall the time in the world to be ready.â
He went on to suggest that the fight be held in the U.S. âjust to make you that bit more happy.â
âBut that is it when it comes to giving you advantages,â KSI said in a video posted to X. âI mean, first of all, we agreed to fight at 180 lbs, but then you decided to run away and fight Nate Diaz instead.
âJake, Iâm tired of this bulls***. Get off the cycle, and letâs make this work. Weâve got weight to lose, and weâve both have plenty of time to do it. 185 lbs is my final offer. Take it or leave it,â he added. âIf you come back with some bulls*** on social media, I will sleep good knowing that deep down you never really had the balls to fight me in a fair fight. You were never actually about it. You were just trying to save face online.â

Jake responded to KSI last month on an episode of his B/S with Jake Paul podcast, countering that they meet in the middle at 192.5 lbs.
In a tense press conference ahead of his fight with former heavyweight champion Tyson, Jake mocked his competitorâs silence, saying: âItâs cute. I fear no man, so I want him to be that old savage Mike.â
âIâve said everything I had to say,â Tyson responded to one of Jakeâs several attempts to get him to say more. âIâm just looking forward to fighting.â

MAFSâ hottest groom returns to his very normal job after finding fame on the show and secretly splitting from wife
A MAFS UK groom has revealed he’s already returned to his very normal job after finding fame on the show.
Tonight will see the Married At First Sight UK gang come together for the final time in a second reunion episode.
And Nathan Campbell has wasted no time in getting back to reality working as an engineer.
He took to Instagram to give followers a tour of his workplace at Watson Gym Equipment, where he’s worked for two years.
Nathan revealed how he uses his “ADHD and passion for fitness from a young age” to help when manufacturing gym equipment at work.
He was part of the strongest couple on this year’s MAFS UK, with it looking likely his marriage to Lacey Martin would work in the real world.
More on Married At First Sight
But The Sun told this week how they’d split off-camera.
A source said: âNathan and Lacey really tried to make their relationship work in the real world but it just fizzled after a while.
“The final vows were filmed in February and they were still going strong in April when the reunion was shot, but since then they have called in quits.
“They were both sad it didn’t work out, but sadly it wasn’t meant to be.
“It’s also a big blow for fans who were really invested in their relationship.
“They were widely viewed as the strongest couple of the series so the news that they are no longer an item is such a shame.”
The shock split comes after it was revealed Lacey was rushed to hospital on the E4 show – in scenes that did not make it to air.
She recently took part in a Q&A on Instagram and asked what the most “shocking” thing that happened on set.
Lacey confessed: “Not much shocking things really, but regarding myself, I fainted on set!! “But all the crew/production looked after me!”

Whoopi Goldberg causes Sara Haines to walk off The View with outrageous joke
The View co-host Sara Haines walked off the show after her colleague Whoopi Goldberg made a particularly raunchy joke.
The incident occurred during Wednesdayâs (November 13) episode of the program, as Golberg was doing a segment to promote her favorite products. One of those things included a wheel of cheese, with Goldbergâs face on it, and Haines was quite impressed.
âIâve always wanted my face on cheese,â Haines said. The Sister Act star responded to her co-host with a risquÊ gag, saying: âYeah, I like to be eaten from time to time.â
A flabbergasted Haines then walked off the set as the audience laughed and applauded before returning back to hug her co-host.
Goldberg opened her mouth in mock surprise before pointing at the cheese and smiling.
âNever mind,â she added, before describing the wheel of authentic Parmigiano Reggiano from Italy.
âSo if youâd like the chance to win a wheel just like this one,â Goldberg started to tell viewers, before Haines interrupted her and quipped: âAnd eat Whoopi Goldberg.â
However, Goldberg then clarified to fans that they could âeatâ faces of themselves on a wheel of cheese if they entered Parmigiano Reggiano USAâs challenge to win a wheel of cheese.
Earlier this week, The Color Purple star made headlines when she said that she canât afford to stop working on The View, which sheâs been hosting since 2007. During Tuesdayâs (November 12) episode of The View, the hosts discussed how New York representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez asked her Instagram followers about their voting tactics. From there, host Haines shared that while she voted for Kamala Harris in this yearâs election, she was open to hearing why people voted for Donald Trump and why those Americans think he could help the working class.
Goldberg then stepped in to show her support for families experiencing financial hardships, before confessing that if she had more money, she wouldnât be on the talk show. âI appreciate that people are having a hard time. Me, too. I work for a living,â she said. âIf I had all the money in the world, I would not be here, okay? So, Iâm a working person, you know?â
She continued:Â âMy kid has to feed her family. My great-granddaughter has to be fed by her family. I know itâs hard out there,â she added. âI love what she [Ocasio-Cortez] did. Yay. We talk to people all the time who say, âThis is whatâs bothering me.â But the thing thatâs bothering everybody should not be the thing that puts 85 percent of other people in danger. I think thatâs what weâre saying.â

First look at BBCâs star-studded new period drama with A-list cast including Line of Duty star
THE BBC has given viewers a peek behind the scenes of its new period drama Miss Austen, which features an all-star cast – not least a Line of Duty star.
Keeley Hawes stars as Cassandra Austen in the film – hot off the heels of Scoop.
The star-studded BBC adaptation of Gill Hornby’s much-loved novel is expected to air next year on the 250th anniversary of Jane Austenâs birth.
The new pictures show the star-studded cast for the first time and reveal an insight into what will come for excited fans.
Meanwhile, other talents include Rose Leslie from Game of Thrones as Isabella Fowle, Phyllis Logan from Downtown Abbey, Calam Lynch from Bridgerton, and Alfred Enoch from Harry Potter.
Also pictured are Synnøve Karlsen (Last Night in Soho, Clique), Patsy Ferran (Living, Hot Milk), Max Irons (Condor, The Wife), and Liv Hill (The Serpent Queen, Elizabeth Is Missing).Â
Viewers can also see Jessica Hynes (Life After Life, Years and Years), Mirren Mack (The Witcher: Blood Origin, The Nest) and Kevin McNally (The Crown, Ten Percent).
The four-part drama reimagines the literary mystery of Catherine Austen notoriously burning her famous sister Janeâs letters.
BAFTA-winning writer Andrea Gibb has adapted the story for the screen.
The story starts in 1830, sometime after Janeâs death, while Cassandra (Keeley Hawes) rushes to see her friend Isabella (Rose Leslie), who is about to lose her home following her fatherâs death.
Although Cassandra is seemingly there to help her friend.
But her real motive is to locate a stash of private letters that could destroy Janeâs reputation if in the wrong hands.
However, Cassandra is overwhelmed as she remembers her youth upon finding them.
Flashbacks introduce viewers to Young Cassy and Jane (Patsy Ferran) while Cassandraâs reminiscing helps her realise her blindness to the real cause of Isabellaâs heartache.
Bonnie Productions also produce Miss Austen for Masterpiece in the US.
The series is directed by BAFTA award-winning filmmaker Aisling Walsh (Maudie, Elizabeth is Missing) and produced by Stella Merz (Gentleman Jack, Renegade Nell).

Hoda Kotbâs Today show replacement named nearly two months after host of 17 years stepped down
Hoda Kotbâs Today show replacement has been announced as Craig Melvin nearly two months after the host of 17 years announced her exit.
The news was revealed on Thursdayâs edition of the long-running NBC morning show.
âCraig Melvin is the new anchor of the Today show!â co-host Savannah Guthrie gushed, calling this âone of the most popular decisions NBC News has ever made.â
Melvin became a news anchor for Today in 2018 and co-host of Third Hour of Today the following year. He will co-anchor alongside Guthrie for the 7 and 8am hours beginning January 13, NBC said.
âYou were made for this job. âĻ You have all the things that this job needs. Youâre the right person for it,â Kotb told her successor.
Melvin said it was âthe latest in a long line of blessings.â
âI am beyond excited and grateful… I talked to mom and dad yesterday and Iâm thankful theyâre still young enough and healthy enough to be able to see this.â
The replacement comes after Kotb announced she was leaving the network after 26 years on September 26.
âI realized that it was time for me to turn the page at 60, and to try something new,â the host said at the time.
The broadcast journalist, who turned 60 in August, explained that spending time with her young daughters, Haley, seven, and Hope, five, was also an important part of her decision.
âObviously I had my kiddos late in life, and I was thinking that they deserve a bigger piece of my time pie that I have,â she said. âI feel like we only have a finite amount of time.

âAnd so, with all that being said, this is the hardest thing in the world,â Kotb said.
She clarified that she will continue hosting the Today show alongside co-anchor Savannah Guthrie through January 1, 2025.
Kotb has been an integral part of NBC News for nearly three decades, having first joined the network in 1998 as a correspondent on its weekly nighttime show Dateline.
In 2008, she moved on to co-host the fourth hour of the Today show with Kathie Lee Gifford and then Jenna Bush Hager in 2019.
After NBC fired Today show host Matt Lauer in 2017 following accusations of sexual misconduct, Kotb stepped in alongside Guthrie as a temporary replacement. Her role became permanent weeks later as viewers responded well to the pairing.
Speaking to TheNew York Times, Guthrie commended Kotbâs decision: âIt takes such guts to leave a place where youâre so comfortable, so beloved. Thereâs nothing rash about this.â
Kotb also wrote a letter to the Today staff outlining her plans to âremain a part of the NBC family.â
âHappily and gratefully, I plan to remain a part of the NBC family, the longest work relationship Iâve been lucky enough to hold close to my heart. Iâll be around. How could I not? Family is family and you all will always be a part of mine.â

I've bought the FRAME tv. Yet to be delivered.
I'm concerned about one thing
At what height I should mount it.
I've 13 x 9.5 ft wall (LxH)
The ideal size is at least 36 inches above from the floor. But pls help me with this. I have bought a 65inch variant
Cuz that low height could make it look like just a TV!!
All videos I have watched, not a single video features that level of low height. All people have mounted it on a little higher side.
I have a 10ft+ distance between the TV hall and sitting.

I've had this for 3 weeks now and I do NOT recommend. Although there are settings for changing the style of caption, they do not work. You only get large white print on a black background and there is no option to move captions anywhere on the screen. The default position and large size block what you may want to see at the bottom such as football scores. Sony technical support and elevated technical support have been unable to help and they told me this model is so new we really don't understand it and don't have all the details on it.

What do you think of the new HDTVtest video where Vincent found out that Sony dropped the ball and took some picture settings away from the Bravia 8?! đ

I love watching your videos. Itâs awesome to see how you and your wife have fun while showing us the newest and greatest in the TV market.
This particular video I was only able to get about 1/3 through. I had to shut it off and go to something else. because I thought after the third political commercial that I was made to watch was a little overboard. I think I was at barely 8 minutes into the video. I really hope you guys are getting a boost in pay for the extreme and obscene amount of commercials that YouTube is implementing into your videos. since January 1, 2024 I estimated that the video/commercial ratio has at the very least tripled, if not quadruple. Hulu used to be the reigning King of commercials. Now I think YouTube holds the crown.
Of the many Youtubers that I watch on a regular basis. I have made similar comments on their video. Their idea on how to respond to their viewers was to be argumentative back at me. My hopes for you guys is to reach out to your YouTube representative and let them know that your viewers are getting pretty frustrated about the ever so growing increase of commercials. Although your videos may be leaning towards the informative style. Most people who watch videos on YouTube do it for the entertainment value. If they canât watch more than two minutes without seeing a commercial that them on some occasions, we as a viewer can skip. But others we have to watch all the way through. Skipping the commercial is also a nuisance. Some of us watch your videos while doing other tasks. If we have to be bothered by carrying the remote with us just so we can hit skip to avoid the 3 to 6 minute long commercials without skipping. That becomes un entertaining as well
Like I said, I love watching your videos. But there are other options for entertainment. I really hate to see you or others like you Luz the way you earn a living for your family. All because of the greediness that YouTube/google has bestowed upon us in the years past.

I think Sony would have killed with this model as at 83" and 500 cheaper than the the G4. These companies are getting stupid greedy but don't worry, they're also replacing humans with AI

I'm returning my new Bravia 8. Screen freezes and if I'm lucky, it reboots itself. If I'm unlucky, I have to pull the plug!!! What a bunch of crap! Sony, you have joined the league of garbage products. Make sure you buy from a reputable dealer, you MAY be returning it soon!!

B, quick question. I have metal studs 24 in apart. I am mounting 65 in s90c with eco gear max motion mount. Looking at 2 options1. Mount 3/4 in plywood on metal studs and attach tv mount to that2. Use elephant drywall mounts directly into Sheetrock and attach tv mount to them. Which is better?
