SEC inspects ERX following a temporary operational suspension and confirms all client assets are secure
The SEC inspected ERX Co., Ltd. after its business suspension due to inadequate capital. As of January 6, 2026, client assets are secure. Investors are advised to stay informed.
Bangkok, 7 January 2026 – The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) conducted an inspection of ERX Co., Ltd. (ERX), a digital asset exchange operating under the trade name Kucoin Thailand, after its temporary suspension of business operations to verify the security and integrity of client assets.
The SEC inspected ERX following the company’s suspension of operations on January 3, 2026, due to its inability to maintain the required ongoing capital fund. Prioritizing the safety of client assets, the SEC confirmed that as of January 6, 2026, all client assets remained secure and intact.
ERX has temporarily halted its operations after its capital fund dropped below the minimum required level between 29 December 2025 and 2 January 2026. Specifically, the capital fund fell to less than 60% of the minimum threshold mandated for digital asset business operators for five consecutive days. To resume normal operations, ERX must first restore its capital fund to the required level and obtain approval from the SEC.
Clients who wish to withdraw their assets can contact ERX through the following channels: Customer Service (Happiness Team) via email at happy@kucoin.th (available 24/7) or by phone at 02-080-6060 (Monday to Sunday, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.). Additionally, clients may contact the SEC through their hotline at 1207, extension 9.
