People in Cambridge wanting to travel to London can buy tickets for as little as £4 to London Liverpool Street. That’s less than a Tesco meal deal (without a Clubcard), which costs £4.25.

Martin Moran, Greater Anglia’s Commercial Director, said: “Customers travelling across East Anglia can save up to 50% on advance purchase tickets, with fares starting from just £3. There is only a limited number, and when they’re gone, they’re gone.

“The Rail Sale is a great opportunity for people to explore everything that East Anglia and our national capital have to offer. Whether it’s a trip to London to soak up the sights, a visit to one of our fantastic coastal destinations, or discovering a new town or city, there’s plenty to see and do at a great price.”

The tickets are available for travel between January 13 and March 25. They also must be bought a minimum of seven days before the day of travel.
