Aston Villa want to sign Conor Gallagher

Aston Villa are interested in signing Conor Gallagher from Atletico Madrid in the January transfer window, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that Villa manager Unai Emery has personally requested the signing of the former Chelsea midfielder.

The report claims: ’With figures like Kamara, Onana, and Tielemans, the Villa Park team are seeking bench depth to face the continental demands. 

‘Emery fully trusts that the player’s dynamism will immediately adapt to his high-pressure system. 

‘Currently, negotiations focus on a possible loan with an obligation for a future purchase to ensure ownership of the player. 

‘However, in the Spanish capital, the demands are different and require an immediate resolution through a definitive transfer.’

Gallagher has made four starts and 15 substitute appearances in LaLiga and has made three starts and three substitute appearances in the UEFA Champions League for Atletico so far this season, scoring three goals in the process.
