The Welsh rugby player has admitted he’ll approach the reality show differently after finishing runner-up in 2024

Former Love Island contestant Ciaran Davies is one of 12 familiar faces set to appear in the next series of All Stars.

The ITV spin-off brings back reality television personalities who previously sought romance in Majorca, offering them another opportunity in South Africa.

Unlike the original programme, where islanders entered alongside complete strangers, All Stars presents a greater possibility of running into former flings and real-life exes.

Ciaran made his debut on the programme aged just 21 in 2024. Despite being amongst the youngest participants, he managed to secure second place alongside his then-girlfriend Nicole Samuel.

Though they were seen as one of the villa’s strongest pairings, the couple ended their relationship on “amicable terms” just four months after their television appearance, reports OK!.

The Welsh rugby player remained coupled up with Nicole for the majority of his time on the show, although he did share a kiss in bed with Harriett Blackmore during the early stages.

Discussing his return for All Stars, Ciaran revealed that he’s taking a new approach. “This time around, I am going to be open for longer,” he stated.

The ITV personality continued: “I’ve got no regrets from my last series. Just this time, I want to be a little bit more open-minded and take the experience of Love Island for what it is; getting to know multiple people and having as much fun as possible. But while being respectful of everyone in the villa.”

However, he hasn’t completely ruled out the possibility of remaining with one partner throughout the series.

He confessed: “But nobody can help the way they feel. So if I go in there and I have a similar storyline to last time then it is what it is. I’ll [feel like] I’m making the right decision because I’ll just be listening to what I feel.”

Ultimately, Ciaran is hoping to leave the programme with a new girlfriend.

“Show’s called Love Island. I want to go on to find a girlfriend, so that’s what I’m going to try and do,” he explained.
