This should, in theory, be a straightforward outing for Mikel Arteta and Arsenal.
The Gunners may not have been at their absolute best in recent weeks, being held goalless by Liverpool and only narrowly beating Bournemouth the match previous, but being top of the Premier League, there can be very few excuses if they do not breeze through this encounter at Fratton Park.
Portsmouth are in very real danger of relegation to League One this season, and are without a swathe of first-team talent.
