Katie Price and JJ Slater shocked fans when they started dating in late 2023 – with their romance sparking an immediate feud with a reality star. In early January 2026, however, it seemed that mum-of-five Katie, 47, and Married At First Sight star JJ, 32, had split.
When Katie and JJ first began dating, he was fresh from a break-up – having been in a romance with model and fellow MAFS star Ella Morgan, 32. While it is not believed there was a crossover for JJ, Ella did take issue with Katie in public, stating she had broken ‘the girl code’ by getting involved with her ex without consulting her first.
Fans of Katie were quick to raise their eyebrows as he romance with JJ heated up, as she was moving on from a relationship with Love Island star Carl Woods, which lasted from 2021 until 2022. Katie was also married to reality star Kieran Hayler. She had other flings with younger men, including Kris Boyson in 2019. However, Katie and JJ appeared to prove doubters wrong as they enjoyed holidays abroad together, as well as multiple date nights and red carpet events.
The relationship strengthened as JJ was welcomed into Katie’s home life, and he has spent time with her five children, which include 23-year-old Harvey, 20-year-old Junior Andre, 18-year-old Princess Andre, and the youngest children Jett, 11, and Bunny, 10.
Katie and JJ went public with plans to have a child together, with plans to welcome a child via IVF. Opening up on the We Need To Talk podcast last year, Katie confessed: “I have got donor eggs, I got them last year. You don’t see the picture, but they go on how I look, like the dark hair, the green eyes, Spanish… because I’ve got like Italian/Spanish in me. And then because I’m not afraid to have a baby on my own, before I met JJ I was quite happy. I found a sperm donor from America, from black origin.”
In the same podcast, Katie did, however, hint she was not happy with JJ, admitting she had never felt comfortable in a relationship before, and added: “JJ, he’s the most kind, genuine, easy-going, chilled person. But do I feel my happiest and do I feel free? No. It’s not a reflection on him, maybe that’s what I need to change for myself.”
Eight months later, however, reports suggested the couple had split. The Daily Mail reported in January 2026: “Katie has had doubts for some time about whether JJ is husband material, but she hoped those concerns would fade. Instead, her fears only grew, and she’s now accepted the relationship will not end with her walking down the aisle for a fourth time. JJ was left disappointed and has already packed his bags and moved back to his home in Essex.”
But two days later, Katie threw doubt on the reports as she shared a video update for fans – featuring JJ. The YouTube video showed the OnlyFans star sharing her plans for 2026, with JJ featuring in shot prominently. However, the footage was recorded in December 2026, casting confusion on the state of their relationship. The Mirror has previously approached Katie and JJ for comment.
