Car crashes into field off Bolton dual carriageway
Police and and the fire service attended the crash, which took place on Beaumont Road at around 7pm.
Images from the scene show the damaged car in the field with the airbags activated. They also show witnesses being interviewed by police officers.
The crash does not appear to have affected traffic, according to an eye witness.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: “Shortly after 7pm on Sunday (November 16) two fire engines from Bolton Central fire station responded to a road traffic incident involving one vehicle on Beaumont Road, Bolton.
“Firefighters made the vehicle and surrounding area safe before handing the scene over to partners. Crews were in attendance for around 40 minutes.”
Greater Manchester Police have been contacted for comment.
