Traffic on M60 brought to standstill by broken-down vehicle
Two lanes of the M60 were shut anticlockwise between junctions J14 and J13 while recovery crews dealt with the incident.
National Highways said the road is expected to be cleared by 2.15pm – but congestion could remain until 3.15pm.
They said recovery has now been completed, but there remain delays of 25 minutes against expected traffic on the motorway.

A spokesperson said: “Two of three lanes are closed on the M60 anticlockwise in Greater Manchester between J14 and J13.
“This is due to a breakdown that police are dealing with. Recovery has just been completed.
“There are 25-minute delays at present, but these should subside when police remove their closure.”
