Sephora UK’s first store on the island of Ireland will open next month

After months of anticipation, Sephora UK has revealed that it will open its new store in Belfast on Thursday 12th February. The iconic beauty retailer’s latest store in Victoria Square, Belfast will be its first opening of 2026, and its 13th UK store to date.

The brand’s landmark Belfast debut marks Sephora UK’s arrival on the island of Ireland, bringing a massive 2,550 sq ft beauty playground to the heart of Belfast’s bustling main shopping district.

The opening of Sephora UK in Victoria Square, Belfast reinforces Sephora UK’s mission to bring prestige beauty to new regions and key retail destinations. Having opened five new stores in 2025 including Liverpool ONE, Sheffield Meadowhall, Manchester Arndale, Cardiff St David’s, and Oxford Westgate, Sephora UK has an ambition to have 20 store locations open by the end of 2026.

Since opening its first store in 2023, Sephora UK’s store openings across the nation have become iconic moments rooted in the cultural zeitgeist, filled with entertainment from local & emerging talents, curated queue experiences, and the tastiest delicacies from favourite local culinary hot spots – all of which will be a part of the ‘pure beaut’ grand opening when Sephora UK opens its doors in Belfast. Beauty lovers who are looking to attend the opening day can follow @sephoraUK on Instagram to get the latest updates and timings on the opening programme in the lead up to the ribbon cutting ceremony.

Additionally, as part of the celebrations during opening weekend, customers who make a purchase of any amount from Thursday 12th through Sunday 15th February will receive a ‘Beauty Bonus Card’, with the chance of winning a variety of on-the-spot prizes, including full size products, exclusive discounts, Sephora merch, and the beloved, coveted Sephora goodie bags.

The Belfast store will join the rest of Sephora UK in offering local beauty enthusiasts an extensive range of world-renowned products, from cult favourites to indie icons, including Sephora’s own namesake range, Sephora Collection.

Customers can shop exclusive ‘Only At Sephora’ brands such as rhode, Haus Labs, Makeup By Mario, Merit Beauty, INNBeauty Project, and Tower 28 alongside other TikTok-viral sensations lighting up the ‘Hot on Social’ table like Tatcha, Glossier, Glow Recipe, Rare Beauty, Sol De Janeiro and Kosas.

This mechanic has replaced the traditional ‘first in line’ model for the goodie bag, allowing for an inclusive, accessible and rewarding experience by more giving more shoppers the chance to win prizes as part of the opening celebrations, with no need to queue through the night.

Sephora is more than just a place to shop – its in-store and online experience centres around helping everyone look and feel their best. With a range of services from personalised beauty consultations that are now redeemable, gift wrap services, and engraving, there is plenty to discover in the world of Sephora.

Alongside the in-store experience, customers can continue shopping via the Sephora UK app and sign up to their MySephora loyalty programme – a VIP scheme that rewards passion for beauty. Earn points for every purchase both instore and online, that can be exchanged for exclusive products, surprise gifts, and even invites to special events all which can be tracked on their app.

Plus, members get early access to new products, birthday treats, and seasonal offers that will make Sephora shoppers feel extra special all year long. At Sephora, inclusivity and belonging is at the brand’s core, and the Belfast store will continue to champion self-expression, celebrate local beauty lovers, and create an open space where everyone is welcome – from long-time fans to those discovering Sephora for the very first time.

After Belfast, Sephora UK’s next store opening location of 2026 will be in Bristol, with its Cabot Circus store set to open later this spring. The continued regional expansion of Sephora UK reflects the retailer’s commitment to bringing its iconic lineup of beloved brands to more customers, building deeper connections with communities, and making Sephora’s iconic beauty retail experience more accessible than ever before.

Commenting on the announcement, Sarah Boyd, Managing Director of Sephora UK, said: “We are so excited to finally reveal the date for our first opening for 2026 in Belfast.
