Spoon Street started in Northern Ireland back in 2014 and has grown to five locations across the country. Offering 16 flavours and over 40 topping options, it is one of the largest soft-serve dessert bars in the UK and Ireland.

On Monday, the firm announced that its Ann Street branch in the heart of the city centre would be shutting up shop as its lease comes to an end.

However, the firm confirmed it is already on the lookout for a new unit to open in Belfast and hopes to be “back before you know it”.

In a post on TikTok sharing a picture of the Ann Street store, Spoon Street said: “This location may be closing, but our journey isn’t over!

“Due to the end of our lease, we’ve had to close this shop. The good news? We’re already looking for a new place and hope to be back before you know it!

“Until then, we’d love to see you at our other stores: Lisburn Road, Ballyhackamore, Rushmere and Newry”.
