Incident involving pedestrian and vehicle on Stockton Road, Seaham
Police, ambulance crews and specialist response teams were called to the scene on Stockton Road, Seaham, close to the Esso petrol station and Asda Express, at around 4.50pm today (January 15).
Durham police confirmed the road was shut in both directions between the Graham Way roundabout and the junction with Station Road while emergency services dealt with the incident.
Motorists have been warned that the closure is expected to remain in place “for some time” and have been urged to find alternative routes.
