Starbucks viral Bearista cup that hit UK stores today already on eBay

It follows huge excitement after its US Bearista cups went on sale before Christmas, with footage shared on Tiktok shows people desperately trying to get one of the glass cups.

Many were keen to get the cups today, but many took to social media to comment on the price of the cup, with one customer posting on the brand’s Instagram post: “£27.95 is absolutely SCANDALOUS.”

Others tried but failed to pick up a cup this morning, with one disappointed customer saying: “I was 5th in the queue my Starbucks got sent 4!! Can’t wait to see those on eBay later for £100 a pop.”

Another added: “There is loads on vinted for £100 plus.”

Before Christmas there was also a ceramic UK version is called the Brown Bear Mug – a cosy 12oz ceramic mug featuring a playful brown bear design, retailing at £13.95.

Starbucks has brought back a winter menu to ring in the new year with a new Pistachio Matcha Latte, matcha green tea blended with white-chocolate pistachio and topped with pistachio cold foam.

There’s also the Pistachio Velvet Oat Latte, back after its sell-out success last year, and a new Ristretto Bianco, a shorter, bolder serve made with triple Starbucks Blonde Ristretto shots and silky whole milk, promising a rich, velvety cup.
