Linda Nolan, member of 1970s singing group The Nolans, died in January 2025 aged 65 following her battle with secondary breast cancer

TV star Coleen Nolan, a familiar face on Loose Women, has shared a poignant tribute to her sister Linda, marking one year since her death.

Linda, a singer and member of the famous Nolan family, died at the age of 65 after a long battle with secondary breast cancer on 15 January 2025.

Linda was initially diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005 and received the all-clear in 2011.

However, in 2017, four years after the death of her sister Bernie at the age of 52, Linda discovered that the disease had returned, with tumours found in her hip bone and pelvis.

Like Bernie, she was diagnosed with incurable secondary breast cancer but remained resolute in making the most of her remaining time, reports the Mirror.

Sharing photos of herself with Linda on Instagram, ITV’s Coleen commemorated the anniversary, writing: “One year without you Linda, love and miss you everyday”.
