Strictly star Kristina Rihanoff confesses she ‘pushed’ daughter, eight, to dance for 12 HOURS in one day for competition
STRICTLY star Kristina Rihanoff has confessed she “pushed” her daughter, eight, to dance for 12 HOURS in one day for a competition.
The dancer, who quit the BBC show in 2015, shares her only child with her fiance Ben Cohen.
Kristina and the former rugby ace met when they were partnered for the 11th series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013, and fell in love.
They then welcomed their daughter Mila in 2016, before getting engaged in the Maldives in 2022.
Now it seems their daughter is following in mum’s footsteps and becoming a dancer.
However, Kristina has admitted that she “pushes” Mila to do her best.
In August, her only child won Juvenile Ballroom & Latin Soloist Of The Year at a prestigious ceremony.
She then revealed how, at another competition, Mila danced from 8am to 8am to 8pm almost non-stop.
Speaking to this week’s Close magazine, the former Strictly star said: “She was incredible and had around 140 dances.
“I did feel a bit of guilt as a dance mum, pushing her to dance for 12 hours, but she was fine.”
Kristina added: “Afterwards she was doing somersaults and headstands – I was exhausted just watching her!”
Meanwhile, yesterday it was revealed how Kristina and Ben had put their £1.75millon house up for sale after revealing they’re fighting to save their marriage.
They’ve been plagued with relationship and financial woes, which they laid bare in court.
Now, their family home in Sywell has been put up for sale, the MailOnline reports.
The couple bought their Northamptonshire home in 2016 and put it up for sale on September 19.
The sale of the house comes after their money troubles were brought to light, following the Covid pandemic in 2020.
Rugby World Cup winner Ben also recently appeared alongside Kristina after she was caught driving her £30,000 Audi Q3 without insurance.
During a hearing at Northampton Crown Court Ben said he had ignored a text message from his insurance company.
He confirmed that he had been solely responsible for sourcing insurance for the couple’s cars.
The court was told that Mr Cohen had been searching for cheaper insurance online at the end of February after being quoted £7,500 by Aviva.
The court also heard they had set up several businesses, including a Yoga studio, which had suffered as a result of Covid.
Ben said: “I get up every day and I fight not to lose everything – to lose my cars and my house and my relationship. I’m so overdrawn.”
When questioned about the strains on his and Kristina’s relationship, he said: “We’re still living together.”
BEN COHEN AND KRISTINA RHIANOFF’S ROCKY RELATIONSHIP
The couple had met when they were partnered for the 11th series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013, and fell in love.
This was despite Cohen being married at the time to Abby Bray.
Cohen and Rihanoff share daughter Mila, and had planned to tie the knot in Tuscany or Oxfordshire.
He told Hello! Magazine in 2023: “Over the last nine years we’ve been through the wringer.
“To support each other through difficult times in business is the ultimate test in a relationship.
“I’ve watched her flourish, from her becoming a mum to growing as a businesswoman, and it has strengthened our bond.”
The pair previously revealed they got engaged during a sun-soaked Maldives getaway in 2022.

Lyrics
don’t wanna talk right now
I just wanna watch TV
I’ll stay in the pool and drown
So I don’t have to watch you leave
I put on Survivor just to watch somebody suffer
Maybe I should get some sleep
Sinking in the sofa while they all betray each other
What’s the point of anything?
All of my friends are missing again
That’s what happens when you fall in love
You don’t have the time, you leave them all behind
You tell yourself it’s fine, you’re just in love
Don’t know where you are right now
Did you see me on TV?
I’ll try not to starve myself
Just because you’re mad at me
And I’ll be in denial for at least a little while
What about the plans we made?
The internet’s gone wild watching movie stars on trial
While they’re overturning Roe v. Wade
Now all of my friends are missing again
‘Cause that’s what happens when you fall in love
You don’t have the time, you leave them all behind
And you tell yourself it’s fine, you’re just in love
And I don’t get along with anyone
Maybe I’m the problem
Maybe I’m the problem
Maybe I, maybe I, maybe I’m the problem
Maybe I, maybe I, maybe I’m the problem
Maybe I, maybe I, maybe I’m the problem
Maybe I, maybe I, maybe I’m the problem
Maybe I, maybe I, maybe I’m the problem
Maybe I, maybe I, maybe I’m the problem
Baby, I, baby, I, baby, I’m the problem
Baby, I, baby, I, baby, I’m the problem
Baby, I, baby, I, baby, I’m the problem
Baby, I, baby, I, baby, I’m the problem
Baby, I, baby, I, baby, I’m the problem

Strictly’s Shayne Ward making soap comeback six years after tragic Corrie death – and he’s joined by real life fiancee
SHAYNE Ward is making a surprise return to soap land six years after his dramatic exit from Coronation Street.
The Strictly star, who left the ITV soap in 2018 following his character’s tragic death, is set to join another drama — this time alongside his real-life fiancée.
He shot to fame in 2005 after winning The X Factor and went on to have a successful music career.
In 2015, he made the switch to acting, landing the role of Aidan Connor on the Cobbles.
His emotional storyline, which ended with his character’s suicide, touched viewers across the nation.
Now, Shayne is set for a soap comeback, which will thrill fans who have missed him on their screens.
Shayne starred in Corrie as factory boss Aiden for three years, leaving the ITV soap in a heatbreaking hour-long suicide storyline episode.
He most recently appeared in Channel 5 crime drama The Good Ship Murder with ex-Corrie co-star Catherine Tyldesley.
In soon to be cancelled Doctors – Shayne will play a character named Kenny Webb.
His real life fiancée & former Hollyoaks actress Sophie Austin is listed as a character named Sandra Horner
The Sun previously revealed how the long-running medical drama has been axed by BBC bosses after two decades on air
The legendary medical drama’s last episode airs in December.
Announcing the end of the show, a BBC spokesperson previously said: “We have taken the very difficult decision to bring daytime drama Doctors to an end after 23 years.
“With super inflation in drama production, the cost of the programme has increased significantly, and further investment is also now required to refurbish the site where the show is made, or to relocate it to another home.
“With a flat licence-fee, the BBC’s funding challenges mean we have to make tough choices in order to deliver greater value to audiences.”
Before then he will continue to impress on the dancefloor on Saturday nights.
Shayne made his debut last weekend during a notoriously tricky samba with his dance partner Nancy Xu, grooving around the dance floor to the Stevie Wonder hit, Do I Do.
The Manchester-born star won the second series of X Factor in 2005, competing against Andy Abraham, who finished in second place, and Journey South, who took third.
He then won a recording contract with Simon Cowell’s Syco label and went on to release several successful singles.
Shayne’s biggest hits include That’s My Goal, which was his debut single and reached number one in the UK.

Bake Off contestant bursts into tears during week one results | Culture
The Great British Bake Off contestant Mike cried as the results were announced during the first episode of series 15 of the Channel 4 baking competition.
The farmer, from Wiltshire, was seen wiping away tears as Noel Fielding delivered the verdict.
Bakers had been asked to create a loaf cake for the signature challenge, a Battenberg for the technical, and an illusion cake for the showstopper.
The first week’s “Star Baker” award went to John, a NHS directorate support manager from the West Midlands.

Phillip Schofield turned DOWN big money TV offers before signing up to spend ten days on remote island for C5
PHILLIP Schofield turned DOWN a series of big money TV offers before signing up for a new Channel 5 series.
The Sun has exclusively revealed that the presenter will appear in a new three-part documentary, Cast Away, which will see him marooned on a tropical island.
The show, which starts on Monday, follows the former This Morning host as he is stranded alone on an island off Madagascar- where he fends for himself and film his own journey.
Last night a source said Phil had turned down very lucrative offers from ITV and BBC for the Channel 5 gig.
They revealed: “Over the past few months Phil has had quite a few offers for various things – but has steadfastly turned them all down.
“This sort of challenge has always appealed to him though and after consulting with friends and family, he decided to go for it. It’s all been top secret, and has been an incredibly quick turnaround in order to keep the news quiet.”

And our insider adds that Phillip was attracted to the idea of filming the show himself so he could tell his own story in his own words.
The source continued: “After 42 years on telly, Phillip has learnt from some great crews and teams on how to film and tell a story. With 10 days to himself, no camera crews or production around, he shot some unbelievably raw footage – some of it makes for tough, emotional viewing.
“But he wanted a chance to share his story, unedited and honest, and let viewers see another side to him.”
Earlier tonight, Phillip teased his TV return with a ‘Watch this space…9am’ post on his instagram account – pointing to the fact that series will be officially announced tomorrow morning.
Cast Away will be Phillip’s chance to open up to viewers about everything he has gone through in the wake of the scandal that saw him lose his gig on This Morning and Dancing on Ice.
The household’s name’s a brief affair with a younger member of staff, which he owned up to, saw ITV carry out an external review.
The review eventually cleared ITV of any wrongdoing, but Phillip retreated from the public eye.
He came off all social media – but went back online just over four months ago back in May.
At the time of his sacking from This Morning, Phillip spoke exclusively with The Sun.
Phillip revealed he would “die sorry” for his affair, but vowed there had been no abuse of power.
He said: “I have massive guilt, and regret. I’ve made a mistake, I’ve had an affair at work.”
The former ITV star joined This Morning in 2002.
He presented the iconic show alongside co-star Holly Willoughby from 2009.
The pair had a falling out prior to his exit from the show, and no longer speak.
While Phillip has kept a low profile over the last 16 months, he has been snapped out and about.
Phil’s TV return
SOME thought it would never happen. He thought it would never happen.
But after an 16 month exile, Phillip Schofield is back where he belongs: on television.
A lot has happened in this time – none of it involving Phil; he has gone from household name to household recluse.
I was the first person to interview Phillip in the wake of his axing from This Morning, and he was a shell of a man.
Pale, gaunt and visibly shaking, his spoke, haltingly, in a whisper.
Nailing vape after vape – he did more for Lost Mary’s brand awareness than any publish team ever could – this award-winning presenter genuinely thought his once glittering career was over.
Many came out in support of him in the wake of that interview but still he couldn’t face opening himself up for more public scrutiny.
He has said “no” to every opportunity that’s since come his way.
But evidently the chance to re-set, quite literally, on a remote tropical island has proven too big a draw.
This is a chance for Phillip to have his say – raw, unfiltered and honest. Who knows what will emerge. (Only Phil, a few Madagascan crabs, and a channel 5 edit suite will know).
Sure, it’s a risk – anything involving TV cameras generally is – but it’s one worth taking.
