Report Roma in talks over potential permanent deal for Carrasco
Multiple outlets in Italy claim that Roma are in discussions over a potential January deal for Belgium international Yannick Carrasco, who is currently under contract with Al-Shabab in the Saudi Pro League.
Roma in talks over potential Carrasco deal
Roma have already made two attacking signings in January with their acquisitions of Donyell Malen from Aston Villa and Robinio Vaz from Olympique de Marseille, but are still keen to provide Gian Piero Gasperini with a new outlet on the left wing according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Pink Paper, as well as Fabrizio Romano and various others, claim that the Giallorossi are in talks over a potential deal to bring 32-year-old Carrasco to the Stadio Olimpico in January.

Thursday’s reports claim that Roma are interested in bringing the former Atletico Madrid man in on loan with an option to buy. La Gazzetta dello Sport suggests that former Atleti teammate Mario Hermoso has also been on the phone to his old colleague.
The difficulty for Roma is largely due to Carrasco’s salary. He reportedly earns somewhere in the region of €13m per season on his current contract in Saudi Arabia, which is more than any other player in Serie A.
