Sheffield Wednesday legend Barry Bannan tells team-mates Saturday will be his final game ahead of transfer exit
SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY legend Barry Bannan is reportedly set to leave the club.
The midfielder has made almost 500 appearances for the Owls in his 10-year spell.

But that looks set to come to an end after the match against Bristol City this weekend.
Several clubs have been linked to his signature this month with Wednesday rooted to the foot of the Championship.
Bannan, 36, has told his team-mates of his intention to leave, according to Andy Giddings.
The Scot has reportedly been seeking assurances about the future of the club after it went into administration this season.
Championship clubs have been circling around Bannan but Millwall are the frontrunners, according to The Star.
There could be several outgoings at Wednesday this month with teenager Yisa Alao already departing for Chelsea.
Another youngster Bailey Cadamarteri has been tipped to make a switch but so far clubs have been unable to match Wednesday’s asking price.
Owls boss Henrik Pedersen remains hopeful Bannan could stay, but admitted it is a “difficult situation”.

He said: “I am speaking with Barry every day and we all know that he loves Sheffield Wednesday.
“I can only say what I say to him, that I hope he will stay. Let’s see what happens at the next stage, but of course I hope he will stay.
“Of course it is difficult. I know he would love to stay, but it is a very difficult situation.
“I respect every single player in the squad and I have a big, big respect for Barry.”
