Smotherman Was Confident Heading Into UFC 324
The 12-6-0 fighter was looking to get back on track this Saturday night, having suffered two consecutive losses. Smotherman was open about how he feels after losing a fight when speaking to Cageside. He said:
“In the fights that I’ve lost, it’s not that I was getting my ass whooped from pillar to post from bell to bell or anything like that “Like the worst thing that happened to me is just that I’m getting stalled out. The way to beat me is to not fight me. And so I’m just kind of going back and focusing on those little details.”
Despite having a lack of joy in his most recent bouts, ‘The Baby-Faced Killer’ had been more than confident that he would emerge victorious against Turcios in the first-ever UFC event on Paramount+.
The event will be headlined by Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett against Justin Gaethje. Smotherman declared: “That’ll be the first knockout on Paramount+.”
