The earbuds feature adjustable ear hooks making them ideal for wearing on jogs and at the gym
As spring approaches, runners and ramblers can head outdoors once again for some exercise in the fresh, crisp air. Most people like listening to music or podcasts while working out, but conventional headphones and earbuds can be too bulky or too slippery when pounding the pavement.
However, Amazon has an offer on a pair of Anker Soundcore Sport X20 earbuds that are designed for such activities. Typically priced at £89.99, they’ve been knocked down to £59.99 (£30 off) until March 16.
The Soundcore Sport X20 earbuds feature adjustable ear hooks that can be extended and rotated for a comfortable, secure fit. They also feature powerful noise-cancelling tech, making them perfect for wearing to the gym or other public spaces, such as trains.
The Anker earbuds have a 12-hour battery life, according to the specs, while the charging case has a 44-hour battery life. The listening devices are a big hit with consumers, with many reviewers comparing the quality to AirPods at a ‘fraction of the price’.
Anker’s Soundcore Sport X20 earbuds come in three hues: black, green and white – all three of which have been reduced to the sale price of £59.99. They’re also durable, being waterproof, sweatproof and dustproof.
Elsewhere, consumers considering investing in some Apple AirPods can find the Pro 3 generation at Very for £219. These also feature noise cancellation and have a built-in heart rate sensor.
Android users may be more interested in these Galaxy Buds3 priced at £159. Available in silver or white colours, they’ve got an angular design for a more secure and comfortable fit and built-in AI.
However, it is hard to overlook the 11,000 Amazon customer reviews for Anker’s Soundcore Sport X20 earbuds. One user said: “Just taken delivery of these and the sound quality is phenomenal. Better than my previous Apple AirPods, with the added benefit of a loop to help them stay in place. I had heard good things about Soundcore, and they weren’t wrong.”
Another pleased fan remarked: “Unbelievable how much better they are compared to the competition, which costs £100+ more. I have previously had AirPods Pro, AirPods, and Beats Fit Pro, and I can safely say these have much better sound quality and a better fit.
“The tactile button on the earphones is much more convenient, and noise cancellation and transparency are better. Save your money and buy these.”
Not all the reviews are positive, as one user reported issues with the app. They explained: “Whilst the ear buds themselves are good, the app is poor. Even though I am able to listen to music and control volume, etc, the app never initially says I am connected. Today, whilst listening, I am being told I need to connect via Bluetooth, and I have been logged out.”
Someone else added: “I have always had a problem keeping Apple AirPods in place, and these, with their hooks, are perfect and a fraction of the price.”
A final buyer concluded: “I think these are one of the best earbuds to wear during exercises, aerobics and music listening, of course. Good vocals, bass and treble and super comfortable.”
