In what hell is Cinderella a honourable mention ?
She teaches hope, and patience to Everyone.
Ok, Mulan is good, not too good than Cinderella.
Cinderella should at least get 4th place.

Saving China isn't A very great thing in my opinion.

If anything I wouldn't even think abt any of the lion king's characters from this one. I would choose someone like idk nani from lilo and stitch who actually bears so much despite just being a young woman more than a lion that I personally forget for half of the movie tbh

Anya/ Anastasia should have at least made Honorable Mentions

    Personal favorites:
    1. Pocahontas- she’s the first princess who wasn’t looking for love, if anything she was trying to avoid an arranged marriage she knew she’d never be truly happy in, nor did she want to be a a basic wife or mother, as Just Around the Riverbend emotes she’s a free spirit who cannot be tamed and is one with nature. Also John Smith is the first Disney prince who actually started as a villain, considering he literally sings about how many Indians he’d kill as if they were trophies. She is so lucky he wanted to see who he was about to kill before pulling the trigger. Their first encounter is honestly still probably one of the most breathtaking scenes of all Disney, if not any movie. If someone were to ask what is the definition of love at first sight, I’d show this. The way they looked at each other is magical and ethereal as if their differences were set aside for one perfect moment. The way he gently put his gun down as if she was a mythical creature or a delicate flower, and after he tried to approach her he ran after her to assure her he wasn’t going to hurt her. And especially when they can’t understand each other, she chose to trust him and open her heart. Also I feel aside Belle she’s the wisest of the princesses, considering she managed to make her father see the error of his ways and their love managed to stop a freaking war, saving countless lives. And the heartbreaking decision to stay with her people I felt was very mature as she was a middle woman, she doesn’t just go with someone she just met, even though they both knew they’d probably NEVER see each other EVER again. Especially with the final scene they wave anna to each other and its sadder they cannot physically see each other, just feel their spirits as this is truly their forever goodbye. The sequel could’ve served a beautiful way of 2 lovers who thought they simply weren’t meant to be reuniting and their separation has made their love burn brighter than ever before.
    2. Rapunzel- she’s only naive because Mother Gothel had convinced her she was the only person she could ever trust, not to mention she was the only source of information/news. Her sunny personality managed to shine through Flynn’s morally grey heart, as he’s not truly evil, just wanted a better life and felt he was better off alone. She even inspired the thugs to follow their dreams, and in the end they’re welcomed by Corona’s citizens. Not to mention her parents never gave up hope on her finding her way back to them, and in the series we see her struggling being an actual princess along with her father’s slightly overprotective nature. Also her and Flynn are one of the best couples period. They’re so hilarious.
    3. Kidagakash- Kida of Atlantis isn’t an official princess all because of the unspoken money rule of Disney. She is a kickass princess who is determined to restore Atlantis to its former glory, while her father is actually the first Disney king who wasn’t a wise ruler, but his usage of the Heart of Atlantis caused their world to become submerged, and he hid it to prevent anyone from anyone else abusing its power. Not to mention she managed to save an entire island from a freaking volcano and just being bonded to the crystal could’ve killed her, but its a destiny she bravely accepts. Not to mention Milo is actually the first Disney prince who isn’t buff or “handsome” but managed to outsmart Rourke, and his ideology managed to convince most of the crew you can’t put a price on the lives of innocents. Also in comparison to Pocahontas and John Smith, Milo can actually speak and read Atlantian, which is critical to unlocking the mysterious crystal of Atlantis. Its so adorable seeing how Kida makes fun of his accent and her wide eye curiosity of the upper world. Not to mention Milo gave up the chance to become famous to stay with her and help get Atlantis back on its feet, and was even charged by her father to rescue her.
HM-Tiana, she’s literally worked every day of her life in an unfair society and actually couldn’t stand Naveen at first, but eventually his laidback personality rubbed off on her. My only problem is because she wasn’t planning on romance anytime soon, I wasn’t the biggest fan she and Naveen got remarried after becoming human again. Also Lottie’s sacrifice to let Naveen stay with Tiana is so precious, seeing she thought Lawrence was him the entire time, wished her all the happiness and even helps Tiana pay the remaining amount for her restaurant. They even let Louis play in their restaurant knowing he’s a good character
Raya- Unfortunately her movie is lacking when it came to the side characters from the different islands, but the fact she had to grow up without her dad AND find Sisu looking every island with all the different dangers is pretty impressive, though I’m mad it doesn’t show the process of trying to find Sisu. Sisu is a hilarious spunky dragon with a important mission. Raya aside (in a way) Cinderella is the first princess who actually learns to forgive a friend who betrayed her for her own island’s greater good. But the ending scene when Sisu reunites with the other dragons is so magical.

I so agree on all but Merida. They all really deserve to shine, like Esmeralda (who's an icon to everybody different around the world), Judy Hopps (who more police officers should be like), Belle (who proves women can do more than just work at home), Dory (who represents people with disabilities), Elastigirl (who's an incredible superheroine and also hot), Mulan (who wants to prove she can save other people from evil no matter if she's female) and Tiana (who shows you can take a break from hard work). I'll always remember how amazing all those Disney and Pixar ladies are!
