‘Marshals’ Episode 2 Proves Kayce Can’t Keep the ‘Yellowstone’ Train Station a Secret for Long
Editor’s Note: The following contains spoilers for Marshals Episode 2.After Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes) returned to television with last week’s series premiere of Marshals, fans everywhere — whether you started with Yellowstone or are new to the Taylor Sheridan-made universe — have been anxious to see where the series goes next. “Zone of Death” is an engaging follow-up that sheds light on the secrets that the Dutton family has been keeping since long before the Yellowstone days. Now, Kayce and his team of U.S. Marshals nearly stumble upon all the skeletons left in that closet.
“Zone of Death” Begins With Kayce’s First Official Day on the Job
The second episode opens with a heartfelt compilation of time spent between Kayce and his son, Tate (Brecken Merrill), as these two finally build the father-son relationship that they always should have had. After riding into the mountains, catching some fish, and camping together, Tate asks his father if he’s prepared to officially join the U.S. Marshals. Kayce doesn’t seem worried, but he’s (rightly) concerned about how Tate feels about it. “A new start would do us both good,” his son replies. As for who is going to run East Camp while Kayce is busy? Turns out, his brother-in-law Rip (Cole Hauser, who does not appear here) has set up some hands worthy of the job. Meanwhile, at the Bullet ‘n Barrel Saloon, Pete “Cal” Calvin (Logan Marshall-Green) shares some old war stories with his fellow Marshals, Miles Kittle (Tatanka Means) and Andrea Cruz (Ash Santos), though neither is too impressed. Cruz is worried that Cal’s friendship with Kayce will get in the way of the team, but they all end up drinking to a “new team, new dynamic” instead.
The next day, Kayce arrives at Marshals HQ for target practice, which he (of course) excels at. Afterward, Cal re-introduces him to the rest of the team, including Belle Skinner (Arielle Kebbel) — still sporting her combat injury from last week — only to leave Kayce alone with the rest of the group. Unfortunately, Cal has the displeasure of addressing Marshal Harry Gifford’s (Brett Cullen) concerns about Kayce’s employment. “A Dutton wearing a Marshal star, it just doesn’t sit right,” Gifford claims, but Cal won’t have any of it. He notes that Kayce is more qualified than most, adding that bringing the former SEAL onto the team turns them into an “elite unit.” But Gifford doesn’t agree. In fact, he doubles down on his opinion by reminding Cal that Kayce is directly connected to the two coldest cases in the state: the death of Governor John Dutton (Kevin Costner) and the disappearance of DA Jamie Dutton (Wes Bentley). Cal chalks it up to being a “coincidence” as Gifford storms out.

But the “easy first day” is soon interrupted when Cal gets word that fugitive Raul Garza of the 406 Royals is holding up in a trailer park in Belgrade. It isn’t long before the team arrives at the trailer park — an apparent breeding ground for meth dealers — and the team splits up. Cal leads Belle and Cruz to the front entrance while Kayce and Miles take the back. Breaking in, a fight ensues as Belle and Cruz get hold of the fugitive in question. Still, Kayce’s head remains on a swivel as he sees a suspicious character in a Chevy pickup across the street, revving his engine. Cal orders him to back down, reminding him that they’re “in Montana, not a war zone.” Back at HQ, the team debriefs as Belle reveals that Garza’s accomplice, Lenny Nelson, is a member of the Aryan Brethren of Idaho, connecting white nationalists with a Latin gang. But Kayce doesn’t have time to deal with that right now, because he gets a call that something is going on at East Camp — and Cal decides to join him.
‘Marshals’ Opens the Door to Questions About the Duttons’ Complicated Family History
Back at East Camp, Kayce and Cal come upon a stallion that has broken through a fence. “That’s not a horse,” Cal jokes. “That’s anger with legs.” But if you thought that Marshals would get all Yellowstone on us and pivot to the ranching life, you’d be mistaken. After Kayce performs a cowboy miracle (which doesn’t last long), the pair return to Marshals HQ, where Cruz reveals that there’s a fentanyl deal going down that afternoon between the Aryans and the Royals at a spot just over the Wyoming border called the “Zone of Death.” This is a place with no citizens or law enforcement, no judges or juries, and no real legal way to prosecute criminal activity. Sounds like the perfect place for a drug deal — or to hide a series of bodies. Yellowstone fans will recognize this “Zone of Death” as the “Train Station” that the Duttons once tossed their bodies into — and the whole thing puts Kayce immediately on edge. Despite Gifford’s prying, he claims it’s the first time he’s ever heard of it.
As the team prepares for war, Belle’s husband and son show up for a quick visit, proving that a balance can be struck between the Marshals and family. It’s a balance that Cal actively admires, though he encourages her to avoid building walls with her husband, noting that things may have been different with his own family had he been more open and available. In the other vehicle, Cruz questions whether Kayce really knows what became of his brother Jamie (who, as Yellowstone fans know, is likely at the bottom of the Train Station himself). It’s here that she reveals that, when her father was killed, there was no question about how it happened, and she had closure. “Family history like yours, I’m sure it’s hard to turn the page,” she tells him. Upon arriving at the deal site, the Marshals plan their op and get in position. It isn’t long before the Royals and the Aryans arrive, and Belle gets in position to place their tracker on the Royals’ vehicle. Since their goal is only to arrest the Aryans, they plan to capture the Royals at a later date to stop them from distributing on Broken Rock.
Things get hairy when Belle finds herself trapped beneath one of the trucks. Miles moves forward to cover her but is suddenly stopped by a rattlesnake, which threatens to give away his position. Kayce decides to get involved and goes to keep Miles safe. However, from their vantage point at the top of the hill, Cal and Cruz see that the drugs are being exchanged with the Aryans for a homemade bomb. “They’re not planning an attack, they’re about to execute one,” Cruz exclaims. It’s then that Kayce shoots the Royal on Miles’ tail, and a firefight erupts. Kayce covers Miles as the Aryans — and their new bomb — get away, leaving the Royals in combat against the Marshals. Although Miles denied being affected by his first kill earlier in the episode, Kayce has seen through him this entire time. In the heat of battle, he encourages his teammate to lock in and be there for Belle now. As Kayce goes after the bomb, Miles steps up alongside Cal and Cruz to cover Belle, taking out the Royals from afar.

With Episode 2, ‘Marshals’ Is Closer To Finding Its Own Voice
Riding on horseback, Kayce goes after the bomb. After firing on the SUV from afar, he’s able to run it off the road by igniting the bomb, thus disarming the Aryan terrorist as well. But when the man calls for mercy, hoping to appeal to the Duttons’ good graces, Kayce executes the man without a second thought. “You’re already dead,” Kayce tells him. “Even if you were worth saving, there’s no help here.” True to his family name and the “Y” brand he’ll forever wear on his chest, Kayce tosses the body down the Train Station, err, Zone of Death, and leaves it behind. Back at HQ, the team rejoices that the fentanyl didn’t make it back to Bozeman and the bomb didn’t hit Idaho’s federal courthouse. Turns out, the Idaho State Police are on the case of rounding up the rest of the Aryan offenders. But when Cal asks about the fifth man whom Kayce was tracking down, all he responds with is “Zone of Death, I guess.” After “baptizing” Kayce with a NA beer, the group disbands for the night. However, Gifford quietly corners Cal and Cruz about Kayce, believing that he’s trying to keep the law off the scent of his fugitive (and missing) brother, who, as we all know, is actually dead.
In the locker room, Miles admits to Kayce that the man he killed is still in his head, though he didn’t freeze with the snake because he was afraid. According to his people, killing a rattler is a bad omen. Still, Kayce reminds him that he needs to be more dangerous than the snake — and if he can’t do that, maybe this job isn’t for him after all. When Miles leaves, Cal asks Kayce about his behavior on the op. While he could always count on Kayce to have his back in the teams, things were different this time around — and everybody knew it. It’s obvious that Kayce is trying to keep his family’s skeletons in the closet, but as Cal notes, “It’s kind of hard to operate when you’ve got ghosts hanging over you.” Even more interesting is that, while on the battlefield, Kayce used a name, “Roner,” when convincing Cal that his plan was the better one. Cal believes that it was a cheap shot that Kayce took to get into his head, but the Dutton heir maintains that it was actually a targeted approach to keep history from repeating itself. Hopefully, that’s something Marshals can dive deeper into.
As “Zone of Death” winds down, Cal and Cruz listen to country singer Ashley Cooke perform “Next to You” at the Bullet ‘n Barrel Saloon as they discuss Kayce’s behavior in the field. Cruz believes that the credit for the op should’ve been given to her because of her intel rather than Kayce, but their conversation is cut short by a handsome cowboy (played by Tyler Courtad) who, after being rejected by Cruz previously, sends her an apology drink. As sparks fly between them, Belle joins Cal for a drink after a hard day, not wanting to carry the weight home with her. As the episode ends, Kayce returns home to Tate, admitting that the landmines left behind by the Yellowstone have thrown him for a loop. While Tate hasn’t found his new beginning quite yet, he did see his maternal grandfather, who hopes to honor Monica (Kelsey Asbille) at a ceremony next month. When Tate asks Kayce about his mother’s favorite necklace, which he hopes to use in the ceremony, his father shrugs it off. But as he steps outside on the porch, he reveals that he’s been carrying it with him all along.
Marshals airs Sundays on CBS and is available for streaming the next day on Paramount+.

B&B Spoilers: Steffy Lays Down the Law with Taylor & Deacon
At Taylor’s office, she and Deacon look worried as Steffy goes off on them. She rants to Deacon that he and Taylor are over and Steffy’s adamant Deacon can’t see Taylor anymore. Deacon explains to Steffy how much he loves Taylor. And Steffy says she’s proud of Deacon for turning his life around—for his success with Il Giardino. Steffy says he’s a great father and granddad.
But Steffy says Deacon made one foolish move when he married Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) and that’s why he needs to stay away from Taylor. Then Steffy says they can have one last moment alone to say goodbye but insists they’re done today. She leaves Taylor and Deacon alone and they kiss. I think they’re far from done.
Bold Spoilers Tuesday, March 10th: Katie and Bill Reject the Olive Branch
On Tuesday, March 10th, Dylan confides in Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone). She may tell her about her feelings for Will and that they kissed. Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) want nothing to do with Brooke Logan and Ridge Forrester‘s (Thorsten Kaye) olive branch. Katie and Bill are over at Ridge and Brooke’s place for the world’s most awkward double date night on Bold and the Beautiful.
Wednesday, March 11th: Dylan Joins Forrester Creations
On Wednesday, March 11th, Steffy tells Dylan she’s not going to let her go and Steffy welcomes her to Forrester Creations. Dylan happily accepts Steffy’s offer to take a job at Forrester Creations. Brooke, Ridge, Katie, and Bill have dinner at Brooke’s house trying to negotiate when Ridge yells and scares the caterer causing Bill to complain that there is no dessert now.
Ridge flies off the handle when Bill puts his foot down. He may try and claim Eric Forrester‘s (John McCook) designs for Forrester Creations but Logan already put them into production and paid for them. Eric reconnects with RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman). At the mansion or at Forrester Creations?

On Thursday, March 12th, Electra’s unhappy to hear Dylan’s news. I’m sure this is about her working at Forrester Creations. Katie’s on the defensive with Brooke. About launching Logan and also likely about producing Eric’s designs.
In the lead up to Logan’s big press conference and launch, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is at the Spencer Publications offices chatting up Dottie (Morgan Fairchild) and her assistant Joseph (Jim J. Bullock).
B&B Spoilers Friday, March 13th: Logan Makes Its Big Debut
On Friday, March 13th, this week, Katie tells Bill the designs are Eric’s, but Bill says they’re hers, they’re producing the line. So, Katie and Bill get going with Eric’s designs. Katie makes her way down the runway and Bill says, there’s a new name in LA fashion—Logan!
Katie takes the stage and speaks at Logan’s debut fashion show. There’s models, dresses made from Eric’s designs—a big deal. Then, Bill and Katie’s press conference is interrupted by Brooke and Ridge.
Week Two: March 16th-20th Spoilers on Bold and the Beautiful
During the second week, Katie and Bill deal with the fallout from the press conference and what Ridge and Brooke did. Ridge fumes over Bill and Katie using Eric’s designs. Tensions escalate between Bill, Katie, Ridge, and Brooke after the fashion show.
Eric will have an opinion on the press conference and designs but does he show up to the press conference? Electra stresses over Dylan coming to work at Forrester Creations. Will she try and get Steffy to take it back? Ivy and Dylan butt heads.
RJ keeps pursuing Electra. Things may get ugly with Will and RJ. Things are awkward for Will at Forrester Creations and after recent brawls between Spencers and Logans, will he quit? Steffy doubles down to make sure Deacon stays away from Taylor.
Taylor and Deacon are miserable without each other—how long can they resist? Bold and the Beautiful spoiler promises in March, a couple makes love for first time—my money’s on them. Hope and Brooke won’t give up on Deacon and Taylor. And if Hope finds out from Deacon how Steffy came at them, Hope may really double down.

As The Shade Room previously reported, on Friday, March 6, Blueface took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share a lengthy message that has now garnered over 3.9 million views.
“Jr is not my biological son RIP to his father Ronnie I can no longer continue the plot it doesn’t feel right as a present father in all my kids life to be discredited as a absence father to a child that is not biologically mine I tried my best to fill in the blanks because his biological father is no longer with us but I can’t continue the plot it doesn’t feel right,” he wrote at the time.
Chrisean Rock Responded To Blueface’s Claim That Her Late Ex, Ronny, Is The Biological Dad Of Chrisean Jr.
As The Shade Room previously reported, the following day, Chrisean Rock reacted to Blueface’s claim about Ronny being Chrisean Jr’s biological dad. Posting via her Instagram Story, Rock accused Blueface of referring to her and Jr. as “dumb” while appearing on a livestream with Plaqueboymax. Additionally, she denied his claim about Ronny and asserted that her main focus remains on raising Jr. in “peace, love, and protection.”
As The Shade Room previously reported, Ronny Doe, whose real name is Karon Makhai Cann, was the victim of a fatal shooting in February 2025. In December 2024, Doe had gone viral for approaching Chrisean Rock and accusing her of keeping Chrisean Jr. from him and denying his paternity.
After the viral incident, Doe alleged that he was waiting on the results of a paternity test to prove he was the father of Chrisean Jr, per The Shade Room. However, it remains unclear whether Doe was able to receive those results before his passing.

Jessie Buckley stars as the titular Bride, while Christian Bale plays “Frank” (AKA, Frankenstein’s monster).

‘Repo! The Genetic Opera’ (2008)
In 2056, an epidemic of organ failures has wiped out the majority of Earth’s human population, and the world is beset by drug addiction and legal murder. This devastation gives rise to the company GeneCo., which provides transplants at a costly payment plan — and if you miss a payment, you’re hunted down by assassins called Repo Men who repossess your organs. Meanwhile, an ill young woman named Shilo (Alexa PenaVega) seeks a cure for her rare blood disease, not knowing that she is the illegitimate daughter of GeneCo.’s CEO (Paul Sorvino).
Repo! The Genetic Opera is based on the 2002 stage musical of the same name. While it failed at the box office and polarized critics, many feel that it’s destined to become a cult hit like The Rocky Horror Picture Show (it has indeed enjoyed midnight movie screenings). Though Gyllenhaal struck down speculation that The Bride! is a musical (although, apparently, her brother Jake does sing), the maximalist aesthetic, grisly, organ-swapping narrative and glam-rock vibes make Repo! The Genetic Opera feels connected to The Bride! in spirit, if not in practice.

‘Wild at Heart’ (1990)
After serving a stint in prison for a self-defense murder, Sailor (Nicolas Cage) reunites with his girlfriend Lula (Laura Dern) against the express wishes of her controlling mother, Marietta (the late Diane Ladd). When Lula agrees to run away to California with Sailor (even though it will break his parole), Marietta hires her on-off boyfriend, private eye Johnny Farragut (Harry Dean Stanton), to track them down. Little does Johnny know, Marietta has also hired another boyfriend of hers, gangster Marcello Santos (J. E. Freeman), to kill Sailor. But when Sailor gets involved with criminal Bobby Peru (Willem Dafoe), Peru may end up doing Santos’ work for him.
While Wild at Heart is no gothic horror, Gyllenhaal revealed in a recent press conference that David Lynch’s subversive love story served as a key inspiration for The Bride! That makes sense since Wild at Heart is a movie about two passionate lovers who can’t be separated, even though the world at large wants them apart, or worse, dead. Since The Bride! is about the Bride and Frank’s love sparking radical unrest, it’s easy to see how a movie like Wild at Heart would have been on Gyllenhaal’s mind.

‘The Bride of Frankenstein’ (1935)

Of course, you can’t really watch The Bride! without going back to the source: the 1935 James Whale classic, The Bride of Frankenstein. The movie is set immediately after the events of 1931’s Frankenstein, and follows the Monster (Boris Karloff) on the run from the people who wish to destroy him. Unfortunately, humans are ignorant of the intentions of the Monster, who has a good heart despite his appearance and lack of self-control. Meanwhile, Dr. Frankenstein (Colin Clive) is goaded by his mentor, Dr. Pretorius (Ernest Thesiger), into resuming his unholy creation of life — and creating a mate for the Monster.
Most critics and fans of The Bride of Frankenstein believe it to be a vast improvement over Frankenstein and a deeper, more mature exploration of the themes from Mary Shelley’s original novel. With atmospheric and expressionistic visual aesthetics, Karloff’s empathetic performances, Elsa Lanchester‘s iconic costuming as the Bride and a bold, creative story that explores isolation and humanity, The Bride of Frankenstein is an Old Hollywood film that still endures as a great work.

Pink Shows Off Family Bond Amid Marriage Rumors
The musician had quite the eventful outing last weekend, as seen in the family photo shared on her Instagram on Saturday, March 7, 2026. The family of four was present at the Broadway show & Juliet at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre.
Pink and her family later posed backstage at the play, which featured her hit 2010 track “F-cking Perfect.” Another highlight of the show was when the singer caught up with Burruss, who also wrapped her own show over the weekend.
Pink and Burruss have years of history between them, including writing her debut single “There You Go,” released in 2000. The Bravo alum also performed “F-cking Perfect” in her role as Angélique. Burruss, in her Instagram video, stated:

Pink broke her silence on the circulating reports that she and her husband are no longer an item. As shared by The Blast, she hopped on an Instagram video, noting that she was alerted to the fact that she is separated from her husband without her knowledge.
“Thank you, People Magazine. Thank you, Us Weekly. Thanks for letting me know. I was wondering if you would also like to tell our children. My 14-year-old and 9-year-old are also unaware,” she noted.
She then continued that people should shift their attention to circulating news, the Epstein files, and systemic racism, among other things.

She also expressed to the media that no one’s attention was brought to the fact that she was eligible for the “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.” The musician then emphasized that the story was untrue and that she was not separating from her husband.

Pink And Carey Hart Previously Had A Brief Moment Of Separation
Two years after the couple’s Costa Rican wedding, they announced a breakup, stressing at the time that their relationship remained amicable despite their status.
Hart displayed a spirit of solidarity by making an appearance in Pink’s “So What” music video, which was largely inspired by their divorce. One year later, the couple made amends and revealed that their divorce was over.
Pink described the process as rebuilding and reconciling, which, interestingly, required them to take a few steps back in their marriage and finally forge ahead.
The singer had previously admitted in 2021 that long-term relationships are not easy, and it might even be easier to jump from one relationship to another.

During the September outing, Pink and Hart appeared in New York City without their rings. A source, however, clarified that the couple loves to be contrarian sometimes, which means they like to have their way, and it has been their pattern throughout their union.

Pink Opened Up About Relocating To New York City With Her Family
The singer appeared on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” on March 2, 2026, where she explained why she and her family made the big move to the Big Apple alongside their kids. She explained that her move was to ensure that her daughter, Willow, could study theater and experience more Broadway in its beauty.
She revealed on the show that Willow wants to do Broadway and become a trauma surgeon. Pink referred to her daughter’s past gig of performing in front of big crowds and musical festivals alongside her in the past.
Pink and Willow have previously performed the song “Hopeless War” from the musical “The Outsiders”. The mother and daughter duo delivered a powerful performance accompanied by a guitar and piano.

It’s unclear who reignited the beef between Victoria Woods and Gloss Up, as they both shared posts around the same time during the early hours of Monday, March 9. However, Woods took to her Instagram feed to share a video alongside a caption that tagged Gloss, “@glittergirlgloss let’s do a boxing match for 10k”
In the clip, Woods seemed to imply that Gloss started with her. She stated that the rapper “should be the last person coming for her.” From there, she appeared to refer to an apparent interaction that occurred during her recent appearance on a ’20 v. 1′ clip.
“B***h, you sent them h*es to try to do some s**t on the ’20 v. 1′ — them h*es swung and missed, and they ran, b***h. But you ain’t gon’ talk about that though, is it?” Woods said.
From there, Woods shared strong words mentioning Scrappy and Momma Dee.
“And Lil Scrappy lame ass — b***h, tend after that f*****g horse-mouth-ass momma you got, b***h, while you try to talk about, ‘Shawty, this, shawty, that.’ Go make some hits, h*e,” Woods said.

Gloss Up Reacts As Their Feud Continues
In her initial response, Gloss took to Facebook to tell Woods to “Go get some d**k.” Then, she followed up with, “Btch Got Hit In Her Mouth & Didn’t Do S**t”
This prompted Woods to respond to Gloss with a carousel post on Instagram alongside the caption:
“you got clocked multiple times by multiple b!tches H03 stfu ‼️”
From there, Gloss shared a Facebook album post containing footage of an apparent physical altercation involving Woods.
At that point, Woods took to her Instagram to share a post of her sending her boxing request to Gloss, and Gloss declining via her Instagram Story.
Furthermore, Woods returned to her feed to share that she left Gloss “alone two weeks ago.” But if Gloss wants to continue with her, she’d post the clip of Gloss and GloRilla “fighting” and Glo “snatching” her wig “off.” Additionally, Woods said Gloss only wants to post videos of her altercations with men, while Gloss has had many unfavorable altercations with women.

Furthermore, Woods also shared a second clip, alleging that Glo’s “beef” with JT stemmed from Gloss Up “being messy.” However, Glo and JT cleared things up, while Glo and Gloss went their separate ways.
At that point, Gloss responded via Facebook, with “MY POINT STILL STANDS !!! ATLEAST I FIGHT BACK !”
Then, on Monday, March 9, Gloss shared an NSFW video post of her “BFF” addressing Woods, and telling her to come to her for the “fade.” Hours later, Gloss reiterated via her Instagram Story that she will not be hopping in the ring with Woods.
As of Monday morning, Woods hasn’t publicly reacted to the footage of Gloss’s “BFF.”

As The Shade Room previously reported, earlier this year, things went left with Gloss Up and Victoria Woods. This, after Woods apparently called Gloss a “snake” while on a livestream. Initially, Gloss chose to stay mum on Woods’ comments. But Woods continued with her livestreams and mentioned that her relationship with her sister GloRilla became distant “because of Gloss.”
From there, Woods mentioned Gloss trying to clown her altercations with men, and things got taken up a notch when Gloss finally responded, printing NSFW, disparaging T-shirts with Woods’ caricature on them.

Braylon Howard Hopes His Dad Is Getting Help
As mentioned, Amy Luciani triggered responses from Royce Reed and Braylon after accusing Dwight of struggling with drug addiction and lying to CPS by forcing his 12-year-old to create a fake alibi. She went as far as showing a clear bag and a small silver vial allegedly filled with cocaine in her video. It’s unclear why CPS removed the girl from the home or what lie Dwight’s son was allegedly forced to tell.
Braylon Howard chimed in after his mother seemed to shade Amy Luciani for previously calling her crazy and jealous. On Instagram Story, Braylon shared a written post that said, “I told y’all.” Meanwhile, in a video on Sunday (March 8), he repeated his “I told y’all” comment and affirmed that his mother also gave warnings.
“But my momma crazy, my side of the family crazy, I’m crazy, my brother crazy, my sister crazy…I hope you getting the help you need, but I told y’all. My momma did too, especially. But it gets to a point you gotta learn to deal with certain things as you get older…that’s something right there I would never do…but you got it.”
Braylon also captioned that video, writing, “I rz hope yu gettin da help yu need dad but dis other stuff you doin gotta stop.”
Dwight Howard Appears Unbothered At NBA Game
Despite the drug and CPS-related accusations, Dwight Howard has not moved to clear the air. Instead, a video shows the NBA retiree grinning and waving at the Lakers vs. Knicks game on Sunday (March 8). He appeared to attend the game on his own at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. David is the child involved in allegedly lying to CPS, and Layla is the child who CPS removed from the baller’s home. Bryan, along with fellow “American Idol” judges Carrie Underwood and Lionel Richie, and host Ryan Seacrest, interviewed with Billboard to discuss the 24th season of the show, which returned to air in 2018 after a hiatus. During the conversation, they were asked to consider what they would change from their time on the show.
Bryan said, “The first thing that popped in my mind is: I would have cherished more moments with Willie Spence. That’s a biggie to me — losing him and knowing how much he touched me in that room, in that space, watching him perform week in and week out. It was truly breathtaking.”

The interview continued, with Bryan saying, “He was from Douglas, Georgia, which is an hour from my hometown. That loss really affected me. From time to time, I’ll see a clip of him singing, and it just breaks my heart for him and his family, and I just can only imagine what his career might have been.”
Seacrest then stated, “You don’t think those things are ever going to happen.” From there, Bryan expanded on his vulnerable thoughts, explaining, “It’s like when you go back to your high school reunion, and you realize some of your classmates aren’t here. Then you realize that, considering the years you’ve been on the show, the sad reality is we are going to lose people.”

Willie Spence Passed Away In 2022
Spence competed on “American Idol” during its 19th season in 2021. He quickly became a fan favorite and ultimately finished as the season’s runner-up, with Chayce Beckham winning. Sadly, he passed away on October 11, 2022, following a car accident in which he reportedly crashed into a semi-truck while in Jasper, Tennessee.
According to Billboard, the show released a statement via its official Instagram. They captioned the post, “We are devastated about the passing of our beloved American Idol family member, Willie Spence. He was a true talent who lit up every room he entered and will be deeply missed. We send our condolences to his loved ones.”

The event, hosted by The City of Riviera Beach, the Diplomat Center, and KOP Mentoring Center, included various special events, intended to honor Spence’s life and legacy following his tragic car crash.
The day began with a tree planting at Cunningham Park at Washington Elementary School. His mother, Sharon Singleton Spence, said of the tree planting ceremony, “Me and Willie’s father are humbled and ecstatic at the thought of planting a tree in our son’s honor. It is something that will last a lifetime, and what a way to pay tribute to our beautiful son and to start a foundation in his honor on such an occasion.
