Woman and her dog bitten by Belgian Malinois in Hartlepool

The incident happened at around 6.20pm on Friday (January 23) when the woman was walking with her dog down Wynyard Road towards Catcote Road in Hartlepool.

Two men wearing dark clothing were walking on the opposite side of the road, coming out from Guthrie Walk with a Belgian Malinois which was not on a lead.

The Malinois ran over to the woman’s dog and bit it in the neck.

The woman then tried to separate the dogs, but she suffered an injury when the Malinois bit the woman on the back of the leg, causing a puncture wound.
