Abu Dhabi’s ITC announces service schedule for Eid Al Etihad holiday
The Integrated Transport Centre (ITC), part of the Department of Municipalities and Transport, has announced changes to the operating schedule for its services during the 54th Eid Al Etihad holiday, which will take place on Monday, 1 December and Tuesday, 2 December 2025.
In a statement, the ITC confirmed that Customer Happiness Centres across Abu Dhabi will be closed throughout the official holiday, resuming normal operations on Wednesday, 3 December.
ITC updates holiday service schedule
Customers can continue to access ITC services through its official website, the Darbi mobile app, and the TAMM digital government platform. The Department’s Service Support Centre (800 850) and Taxi Service Contact Centre (600 535353) will remain available during the break.
The Truck and Bus Parking Yard in Mussafah (M-18) will be free of charge for the duration of the public holiday.
Public transport across the emirate will operate according to the usual weekend and official holiday schedule. Additional suburban and intercity bus trips will be added, along with extra services to transport visitors to the Sheikh Zayed Festival. Passengers can access full bus timetables through the ITC website, the Darbi app, Google Maps, or by contacting the toll-free support centre.
Driver and vehicle licensing services will operate on a modified schedule during the holiday:
- Light vehicle inspection centres at Al Salama Building – Abu Dhabi will operate 24 hours a day throughout the week, while branches in Falaj Hazza (Al Ain), Motor World (Abu Dhabi), Rahayel City, Al Bateen (Al Ain), and Madinat Zayed (Al Dhafra) will open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on Monday and Tuesday.
- Heavy vehicle inspection centres in Mussafah (Abu Dhabi) will be open from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, and centres in Mazyad (Al Ain) and Madinat Zayed (Al Dhafra) will operate from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
- Taresh Premium Service Offices at Al Salama Building, Motor World, Rahayel City, and Falaj Hazza will open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm during the holiday.
- Insurance offices at Al Salama Building and Motor World will maintain the same operating hours.
- The Plate Numbers Factory at Al Salama Building, Motor World, Rahayel City, Falaj Hazza, Industrial Area (Al Ain), and Madinat Zayed will open from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm on both holiday days.
The ITC reminded residents to check online for updates and use digital platforms for essential transport services during the holiday period.
