Bahrain announces 2025 National Day holiday

Bahrain has announced a two-day holiday to celebrate National Day and the accension to the throne of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, issued a circular regarding the public holidays marking:

• National Day
• Anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s Accession to the Throne

Bahrain National Day holiday 2025

Under the circular, the Kingdom’s ministries, government departments and public institutions will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday, corresponding to 16 and 17 December 2025, respectively.
