Bitcoin Price Trades Below $87,000

After hitting an intraday trough below $81,000 on Nov. 21, the cryptocurrency had mostly gained through the end of November.

It peaked above $92,500 in morning trading ET time on Black Friday, and then began to sell off on Sunday evening.

As of early Monday, it stood at a touch below $86,500.
