China’s economy grew 5% in 2024, slightly exceeding the government’s goal and median estimate. BofA’s Helen Qiao says the GDP numbers “look pretty awesome.” According to Qiao, “industrial activity has held up reasonably well” and subsidies for consumers “clearly kicked in with its impact.” She speaks on Bloomberg Television.
