Dar Global begins groundwork on Trump Tower Dubai

Dar Global has appointed Edrafor Emirates to carry out the enabling works for the Trump International Hotel and Tower, Dubai, marking the start of construction activity on the flagship development at the entrance of Downtown Dubai.

The London-listed developer announced the contract award on Wednesday (10 December 2025), describing it as a key step in progressing the project following its unveiling in April. The 80-floor tower will rise 350 metres and combine a hotel, luxury residences and The Trump, which is a private members club.

Plans include what Dar Global says will be Dubai’s highest outdoor pool, along with two penthouses inspired by Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue in New York and views toward the Burj Khalifa.

Edrafor Emirates will oversee the groundwork needed before full construction begins. Its scope covers ground engineering, deep enabling systems and on-site logistical preparations to bring the plot to build-ready condition.
