Diriyah Company has announced the addition of eight new brands to Diriyah Square, reflecting the accelerated pace of development at the project as construction continues across more than 400 planned retail and dining outlets.

In a press release issued on Sunday, the company said the newly confirmed brands are Adidas, Spinneys, Seven Luxury Wellness, OliOli, Al Dawaa Pharmacy, Alo Yoga, On Running and Fakeeh Clinic. The additions span a wide range of offerings, including retail, wellness, healthcare and essential services.

Diriyah Company Group Chief Executive Officer Jerry Inzerillo said the inclusion of these brands represents a qualitative addition to Diriyah Square and strengthens its position as a vibrant destination that supports a variety of daily activities. He said the project seeks to balance the preservation of Diriyah’s historical character with the delivery of modern facilities that meet the expectations of residents and visitors, while contributing to overall quality of life.

The announcement comes amid growing interest from leading local and international brands looking to establish a presence at Diriyah Square. The company said this demand highlights the appeal of the project and its integrated urban environment.

Diriyah Square has been designed as a pedestrian-friendly destination inspired by traditional Najdi architecture, reflecting the history and spirit of Diriyah while catering to contemporary lifestyle needs.

Earlier this year, Diriyah Company awarded a SAR2.249 billion development contract for Diriyah Square, which will comprise 73 buildings and approximately 400 units designated for commercial and service use.

The wider Diriyah development is expected to contribute around SAR70 billion to Saudi Arabia’s gross domestic product, create nearly 180,000 jobs, accommodate about 100,000 residents and attract close to 50 million visits annually.

Plans for the development also include office spaces for professionals in technology, media, innovation, arts and education, alongside world-class museums, a university, the Royal Diriyah Opera House and nearly 40 luxury hotels. Additional leisure offerings will include a golf club featuring a Greg Norman–designed course and the Equestrian and Polo Club at Wadi Safar.
