Dubai Wasl Group Partners with WHOOP

Wasl has launched a major well-being initiative across its Dubai communities after forming a strategic partnership with WHOOP, the human performance and health span company.

The deal aims to embed continuous health monitoring into everyday life for residents, employees and partners, marking one of the largest wearable-led wellness rollouts by a UAE real estate developer.

The initiative introduces WHOOP’s screen-free fitness-tracking technology throughout the Wasl ecosystem. The wearable monitors physiological data around the clock, including 24/7 heart rate and heart rate variability insights, allowing users to understand patterns, track stress and recovery, and make more informed lifestyle decisions.

Data-driven health for Dubai communities

As part of the collaboration, WHOOP devices were offered to buyers during the freehold sales launch of Ashwood Estates at Jumeirah Golf Estates, a community known for its greenery and active living environment. Wasl said the gesture reflects its belief that high-quality housing should go hand in hand with tools that support healthier long-term habits.

The wider rollout will be supported by Wasl Fit, the company’s fitness and community engagement programme, which delivers year-round events, sports activities and wellness initiatives. The developer says integrating WHOOP into these programmes will help build awareness, encourage consistency and promote a stronger well-being culture across its neighbourhoods.

Salem Al Nuaimi, Director of Asset Management Services and Solutions at Wasl Group, said: “At Wasl, we recognise that building healthy, thriving communities is core to our mission. This partnership with WHOOP strengthens that commitment by giving our people and customers access to tools that support better daily choices. We’re not simply adopting new technology, we’re creating a culture where data, well-being, and engagement intersect to unlock long-term value for our people and our wider network.”

Todd Stiefler, Vice President of Enterprise at WHOOP, said: “WHOOP is built on the belief that when people understand their bodies, they can make smarter decisions, recover faster, and live longer, healthier lives. This partnership with Wasl reflects a shared commitment to creating environments that prioritise data-driven well-being, whether at home, at work, or within the broader community. Together, we’re excited to empower people across Dubai to take control of their health through meaningful insights and proactive habits.”

Wasl, one of Dubai’s largest developers, manages more than 60,000 residential and commercial units and says the partnership forms part of its long-term strategy to enhance quality of life across the emirate. WHOOP, headquartered in Boston, provides wearable technology and personalised coaching tools used by consumers and organisations globally.
