Dubai has launched a new generation of police digital services with the rollout of a second-generation official website and smart application, alongside a dedicated Lawyers Platform offering seven specialised digital legal services.
The launch is designed to simplify procedures, speed up transactions and enhance the customer experience for lawyers and legal consultants, while supporting Dubai’s wider digital transformation and zero-bureaucracy agenda.

Dubai Police confirmed that the new Lawyers Platform includes the following seven services:
- Linking powers of attorney to officially represent clients in registered cases
- Electronic signing of powers of attorney in a secure and approved digital format
- Good Conduct Search Certificate to support the lifting of circulars after legal and financial settlement

- Issuance of To Whom It May Concern certificates related to specific cases or procedures
- Permits for virtual visits with detainees or inmates held in Dubai
- Enquiry about circulars and travel bans with direct digital payment and case closure through the service
Major General Dr Saleh Abdullah Murad, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Administrative Affairs and Chairman of the Customer Happiness Council at Dubai Police explained that this approach ensures fast and flexible access to security, traffic, community and criminal services, supports Dubai Police’s strategic goals, enhances community happiness, strengthens security and builds innovative and adaptable capabilities that keep pace with change.
Commenting on the Lawyers Platform, Major General Murad said the initiative supports the justice system by enabling legal partners to complete procedures efficiently through secure and integrated digital channels.
He added that the platform aligns with Dubai’s digital transformation and zero-bureaucracy agenda, offering smart, proactive services based on innovation and data science.
He noted that the second-generation website and smart application reflect Dubai Police’s adoption of advanced artificial intelligence technologies, not only to speed up procedures but also to redesign the customer journey to be simpler, more accurate and more reliable.
AI-powered policing
Major General Khalid Nasser Al Razooqi, Director of the General Department of Artificial Intelligence, said artificial intelligence has become a core pillar in developing modern policing systems, highlighting Dubai Police’s approach to transforming data and advanced technologies into effective tools for decision making, service efficiency and system integration.
He explained that the new website and smart application follow the approved digital identity and provide services in seven United Nations official languages, with support for more than 268 languages through artificial intelligence systems.
He added that the seven digital legal services were developed in line with approved legal frameworks, without affecting regulatory procedures.
Major General Al Razooqi said the initiative reflects Dubai Police’s proactive approach to building a digital ecosystem capable of continuous learning and improvement, enhancing reliability, accuracy of outcomes and integration with relevant entities through a unified digital framework.
He confirmed that the platform supports the zero-bureaucracy strategy by reducing traditional procedures, unifying service channels and offering interconnected services that save time and effort, adding that innovation remains a strategic tool for strengthening trust, upholding the rule of law and delivering added value to society.
Reducing in-person visits
Brigadier Majed Al Suwaidi, Director of the General Department of Police Stations, said the Lawyers Platform represents a qualitative shift in services provided to lawyers and legal consultants.
He explained that it significantly reduces reliance on in-person visits to police stations, improves operational efficiency and enables lawyers to submit requests and complete procedures electronically, saving time and effort and improving communication with justice partners.
He added that this approach reduces pressure on police stations and allows human resources to focus on essential security and community duties.
Lawyers can access the platform around the clock through the Dubai Police website to submit documents and follow up on requests, while police stations can monitor procedures and request status in real time.
Hessa Al Balooshi, Director of Smart Applications at the General Department of Artificial Intelligence, said the new system provides a unified digital platform across the website and smart application, ensuring a seamless and integrated experience with continuous data flow across channels.
She explained that users can access services, reports, notifications and request tracking through a single central point, supported by smart service accelerators that analyse user behaviour and language patterns to deliver more personalised and efficient services.
Through the Services Portal and Customer 360 Profile, users can access a customised dashboard displaying all requests, complaints, reports and suggestions, with unified notifications and alerts that enhance transparency and accountability.
The platform also introduces dedicated Lawyers Workspaces, enabling lawyers to manage cases, powers of attorney and client requests digitally and securely using digital identity, without visiting police stations.
An integrated request and case management system allows tracking of requests, circulars and travel bans, supported by clear timelines and continuous updates via email, SMS and in-platform notifications.
The system also includes Smart Advisor Dubai Police AIX, an interactive digital guide providing guidance on services, reports and enquiries beyond traditional chat systems.
