Emirates has officially activated an interline partnership with Bahamasair, expanding its Caribbean connectivity by offering customers seamless access to two destinations in The Bahamas.

The unilateral partnership enables travellers to fly on Emirates from across its global network to Miami or Orlando and connect to Nassau/Paradise Island or Freeport on Grand Bahama Island—all on a single ticket.

The agreement builds on a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by both airlines in June. Under the partnership, customers benefit from a single baggage policy across both carriers and simplified booking for the entire journey, including onward flights operated by Bahamasair.

Miami and Orlando are among the 12 US destinations served by Emirates. The airline operates daily flights to Miami with its retrofitted Boeing 777 aircraft featuring four cabin classes, and five-weekly services to Orlando operated with its Boeing 777 in a three-class configuration.

From these Florida gateways, customers can connect to Bahamasair flights onboard Boeing 737 aircraft to two of the country’s major points.

Earlier this year, Emirates also signed an MoU with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of The Bahamas to jointly promote tourism to the Caribbean nation.
