Perspective Financial Group has completed 17 acquisitions to date in 2025
A financial services firm with offices in Gloucester and Droitwich has been acquired by Lancashire-headquartered wealth management group Perspective for an undisclosed sum. Prosser Knowles Associates will be rebranded to Perspective following the deal.
The acquisition adds around £400m of assets under advice and all Prosser Knowles’ 27 staff, including three individuals who will be taking up new group roles at Perspective. The two offices will also be retained.
Ian Wilkinson, chief executive of Chorley-headquartered Perspective, said: “We are absolutely delighted to announce the successful completion of a landmark acquisition in Prosser Knowles.
“This is an important moment for our firm and a powerful testament to the hard work, dedication, and expertise of our entire M&A and integration teams.”
Mr Wilkinson said the Prosser Knowles team was “culturally aligned and built on the same client-centric philosophy” as Perspective.
“We remain a whole of market financial planning firm at heart, and we hope and expect that both the clients and staff of Prosser Knowles will benefit from being part of our group in the long run,” he added.
Sam Ward, head of M&A at Perspective, added: “To be able to attract a firm like Prosser Knowles to Perspective demonstrates the strength of our proposition to like-minded firms of any size.
“Our partnership model allows firms like Prosser Knowles to become part of a larger organisation whilst retaining the culture and client relationships that have driven its strong performance to date, alongside sharing in the upside of continued growth.”
Nick Aston, managing director of Prosser Knowles, said he was “proud” to partner with Perspective after 38 years.
“This move supports our continued growth and ensures we can maintain exceptional service for our clients,” he said. “Perspective is a partner we trust to safeguard our clients’ interests and future.”
Dale Gough, director of Prosser Knowles, added: “After 38 years of supporting our clients, we sought a partner that shared our core values and had the scale to support our future growth. Perspective was the clear choice, being aligned with our commitment to both clients and our team.”
