Heard on the Street Recap: Yields Rising

Stocks wavered between small gains and losses Thursday, ending up little changed. The Nasdaq composite ended the day 0.2% higher while the Dow and the S&P were little changed. Shares in Dollar General gained nearly 14% after the low-price retailer lifted its forecast for full-year sales growth. Kroger stock fell after the supermarket chain swung to a loss. Salesforce gained nearly 4% following better-than-expected earnings results.
