How This Financial Advisor Turned YouTube Into a Growth Engine for His Firm
As Covid-19 was sweeping the country in 2020, Dave Zoller had a hunch about YouTube. A financial planner, Zoller thought the video streaming platform might help him build leads for Streamline Financial Planning, the firm where he serves as president. Even though Zoller, now 40, had little marketing or video experience, he launched a YouTube channel and committed to creating and publishing one video a week. At first, it was rough going, as his channel, @StreamlineFinancial, registered almost no traffic. “It took 10 months to go from zero subscribers all the way to a grand total of 70,” Zoller recalls.
