Move is BLJ’s second office opening in a year
A North West law firm has returned to Liverpool city centre after 15 years away in a “significant milestone” in its growth plans. Bell Lamb & Joynson Solicitors has opened a base in the landmark 20 Chapel Street building that it says will provide “a central hub for meetings, appointments and professional engagement”.
The move, which the firm also said “reflects both the firm’s strong city centre roots”, comes just 12 months after the firm opened an office in Ashton-in-Makerfield. Announcing the opening, Bell Lamb & Joynson said: “It also reinforces the firm’s long term commitment to Liverpool as a legal and commercial centre.”
Bell Lamb & Joynson also has bases in Walton Vale in North Liverpool, Magvhull, Runcorn and Warrington. In its most recent financial year, it saw turnover from client fees surpass £5m for the first time in its 200-year history.
Managing partner Mike Leeman said: “Returning to Liverpool City Centre is an important moment for the firm. Liverpool has always been central to our history and our identity, and this new office allows us to build on that legacy while looking firmly to the future. Opening a second new office within a year reflects the confidence we have in our people, our strategy and the continued demand for high quality legal services across the region.”
