Los Angeles is seeing its worst natural disaster in the region since the 1994 Northridge earthquake. At least five people are dead and more than 100,000 are forced to evacuate from their homes. Many ended up scattered in shelters, hotel rooms, second homes or on the couch with friends and relatives.
