Palma Development awards AED760m contract for first tower at Serenia District

West Residence is a 46-storey residential tower and forms part of the wider Serenia District masterplan, a AED5 billion development comprising six integrated towers. The project marks the latest collaboration between Palma Development and Khansaheb, extending a partnership that spans more than a decade.

The tower will introduce 411 one-, two- and three-bedroom homes, along with two penthouses located at the top of the building. It is the first structure to be developed within Serenia District, which is planned around six lifestyle zones including a clubhouse, health and social spaces, sports and recreation areas, a family-focused zone, nature-led spaces and a wellness retreat.

Palma Development taps Khansaheb for Serenia contract

Khansaheb Civil Engineering has previously delivered Serenia Residences The Palm and is currently working on Serenia Living on Palm Jumeirah. The contractor, established in 1935, is known for delivering technically complex projects and has a long-standing presence in the UAE construction sector.

Serenia District is located in Jumeirah Islands, close to Jumeirah Lakes Towers, DMCC, Uptown Dubai and Dubai Marina. The development will feature approximately 20 kilometres of walkways designed to support an active lifestyle, alongside architectural elements including a starlight-inspired façade intended to change in appearance from day to night.

Palma Development said the appointment of Khansaheb reflects its focus on working with established contractors capable of delivering large-scale residential projects to high standards, as construction begins on the first phase of Serenia District.
