PRYPCO and Georgia’s justice ministry sign MoU on real estate tokenisation

PRYPCO has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Georgia’s Ministry of Justice to cooperate on the development of a framework for real estate tokenisation and digital transformation in the country.

The agreement was announced by PRYPCO, a UAE-based proptech and real estate tokenisation platform, and is intended to support the exploration and implementation of an approach to real estate tokenisation that is secure, compliant and aligned with Georgian laws and regulations.

The MoU signing took place in the presence of Irakli Kobakhidze and Paata Salia, along with members of the Georgian delegation. PRYPCO was represented by its founder and chief executive, Amira Sajwani, and members of the company’s leadership team.

According to the announcement, the agreement establishes a strategic framework for cooperation between PRYPCO and the Ministry of Justice of Georgia to explore, develop and implement a real estate tokenisation initiative in the country.

The collaboration is intended to support efforts to modernise real estate processes, strengthen investor confidence and position Georgia as an innovation-friendly jurisdiction for digital investment and next-generation property infrastructure.

Compliance-led tokenisation framework

Under the MoU, the two sides will work together to promote legal and technological innovation across the real estate sector. Areas of cooperation include enhancing regulatory clarity, encouraging domestic and international investment, and supporting the secure, transparent and compliant tokenisation or digitisation of real estate-related rights and interests in line with Georgian legislation.

The agreement is framed as a public-private partnership that brings together government institutions and private-sector technology expertise. It also aligns with Georgia’s stated ambition to modernise its legal and economic frameworks and encourage responsible digital transformation.

Commenting on the signing, Sajwani said: “This MoU reflects a shared belief that the future of real estate lies in trust, transparency, and technology-enabled access. By working closely with the Ministry of Justice of Georgia, we are laying the groundwork for a responsible and compliant approach to real estate tokenisation, one that strengthens investor confidence, supports regulatory clarity, and unlocks new opportunities for global participation.”

She added that Georgia’s openness to innovation and policy approach made it a suitable partner as PRYPCO expands its international government collaboration strategy.

Justice Minister Paata Salia said the cooperation represents an important step in Georgia’s efforts to modernise its real estate and legal infrastructure. “By exploring innovative approaches such as real estate tokenisation within a clear regulatory framework, we aim to enhance transparency, strengthen investor protection, and increase confidence in Georgia as a secure and progressive investment environment,” he said.

The MoU signals Georgia’s intention to pursue digital solutions while maintaining legal oversight and governance. For PRYPCO, the agreement marks a further step in its international growth and its stated focus on working with regulators and governments on real estate ownership and investment models.
