Here’s what to expect from Infosys Q3 results
Brokerages are expecting a seasonally weak performance with limited sequential growth. Factors such as furloughs and a lower number of working days are expected to weigh on near-term growth, though steady deal execution and ongoing cost optimisation measures could provide some cushion.India’s second-largest IT services company is projected to post high single-digit growth in net profit, with estimates from four brokerages indicating an increase of up to 9% year-on-year for the December quarter. Revenue is also expected to grow in the range of 8% to 9% during the same period.
Investors will be particularly focused on any changes to the company’s outlook. HDFC Securities expects Infosys to raise its FY26 revenue growth guidance by 1% to a range of 3% to 4%, while retaining its operating margin guidance of 20% to 22%.
In contrast, Elara Capital anticipates that Infosys will maintain its FY26 revenue growth guidance at 2% to 3%, citing a relatively low ask rate of between -1.5% and -0.2% for the next two quarters.
Beyond headline numbers, investors are likely to track management’s commentary on the deal pipeline, the pace of deal ramp-ups, utilisation levels, margin trajectory and trends in client spending, especially in the context of continued global macroeconomic uncertainty.
HDFC AMC Q3 expectations
Analysts are building in a 5% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) growth in overall QAAUM in the third quarter for the domestic MF business, reflecting strong flows and positive MTM.
“We expect yields to decline QoQ due to AUM growth. We expect 10% YoY core PBT growth, driven by 13% YoY revenue growth and 25% YoY expense growth. Other income is up QoQ due to MTM gains. Focus to remain on stability of retail flows and yields,” said Kotak Equities.
