Qatar and Poland to strengthen economic ties
Invest Qatar, the Investment Promotion Agency of Qatar, and the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) have signed a strategic partnership to deepen economic and investment cooperation between Qatar and Poland.
The agreement was formalised during the Poland-Qatar Investment Forum, hosted by the Embassy of Poland in Doha, and establishes a framework to facilitate information exchange and strengthen investment flows between the two countries.
Under the partnership, Invest Qatar will provide Polish companies with comprehensive support, including guidance on Qatar’s regulatory environment, investment opportunities, and introductions to key stakeholders, as well as aftercare services for firms already operating in the country.
PAIH will assist in promoting Qatar’s business landscape to Polish enterprises and refer potential investors interested in entering the market.
Both agencies will also collaborate on joint events, workshops, and conferences to foster greater business exchange and bilateral investment.
Sheikh Ali Alwaleed Al-Thani, CEO of Invest Qatar, said: “This partnership with PAIH marks a new chapter in the long-standing relationship between Qatar and Poland that has been built on mutual respect, shared values, and a commitment to progress. Through this collaboration, we aim to open new avenues for economic growth, support Polish companies to explore the wealth of opportunities available in Qatar, and foster meaningful partnerships that drive innovation and long-term growth.”
Łukasz Gwiazdowski, Deputy Chairman of the Board, Polish Investment and Trade Agency, said: “We are pleased to join forces with Invest Qatar to support Polish companies in expanding their global footprint. This collaboration will not only facilitate access to new markets but also foster significant connections between our business communities. We look forward to working together to drive investment and create lasting value for both economies.”
The partnership aligns with Invest Qatar’s mission to position the country as a reliable long-term partner for international investors while advancing its national economic diversification objectives under Qatar National Vision 2030.
Qatar and Poland established diplomatic relations more than 35 years ago, and trade between the two countries reached approximately QAR 4.2 billion (US$1.15 billion) in 2024.
More than 35 Polish companies currently operate in Qatar across sectors such as professional services, logistics, and technology, reflecting the growing depth of bilateral economic ties.
